I believe that words can become hurtful dependent on how those words are used towards to another individual and the basis and level of relationship that those individuals have in regards to one another.
Question? Would those citizens who were born in the territories (states before they became states of the U.S.) be considered natural born citizens or foreigners?
Federal Agencies have always used temp agencies to fill positions, that is nothing new. It is not cheaper in the long run but it is expedient.
When most people think of Federal positions, they tend to think of the government, forestry or something along those lines. There are many federal agencies that will only hire those who meet their preference ratings....
I am working with my university right now, as I am close to my AA; they are scrambling to help me find a position that will utilize my skills, education and experience, with commiserate pay.
Even they suggested that I work for the federal government, which is where I already concentrate looking as that is pretty much the only sector that has positions opening within the foreseeable future.
As someone who has worked in the field of Human Resources, in the corporate world, an individual is hired based on their qualifications, not their outward appearance.
Every company has a dress code policy, some require covering of tattoos, body piercings, loud/wild hair color/styles, however, it does not mean that the individual with tattoos, body piercings or wild hair color/styles is not approved for hire.
There are many individuals working at executive levels, who have tattoos, body-piercings, etc. and you would, most likely, be shocked that they are regarded as hard-working, ethical and moral human beings who contribute not only to their companies but to their communities.
