Any man who treats a woman as an equal rather than a doormat, will end up getting all the things the other fella insists on, but the woman will do it because she feels loved and respected, and will want to give it back one hundred fold..
If we totally disregarded non-tactile attention, and concentrated on inappropriate touching for the context of this conversation, it may be easier. As non-tactile may be more subjective to people's interpretation of it.
I often see young ones out on a Saturday night, and I do an internal eye roll at what they are wearing. However, if someone decided they could assault them in any way because of what they were wearing, I would split their head in two without a thought. Nobody can stop thoughts, but they can stop actions.
I have yet to meet anybody who wants to turn men into women..
And I am very aware men and women are different. But I think painting men as forest dwellers with no control over their actions is disingenuous, and disrespectful to men.
But some men think because a woman is dressed attractively that they can take liberties. So you saying women have to take the rough with the smooth or having to put up with bad situations is like saying men have no character, willpower or respect. That it is all down to the woman. That is the situation in too many countries in the world already. I had hoped western men had evolved further.
