I have learned an awful lot about attitudes since joining. I guess because the people we normally associate with have similar backgrounds /views as ourselves. Seeing the broad expanse of personalities on here has made me definitely know what I like/want and not.
Most men, and most women, want to date people of approximately their own age. I know occasional men and women who want to date significantly older or younger, but they are in the minority. And yes, most people just want to love, and be loved. There isn't such a significant difference between men and women, we are all just human.
It's ages since I set my mail settings. I just presumed they'd be the same as the other age limits. I really can't see why they have two settings for age.
Could you not be blocked based on some other criteria apart from age?
I always presumed the age group you specify on your profile was the same one as the mail settings. It doesn't make sense to have two different age limits. I certainly can't remember setting it twice,
