if I wanted to write ad nauseam about Irish politics, I would do so on the Irish forums where some people might actually have an interest in it. I wouldn't flood the international forums with it.
Amazingly, all countries have governments & political issues, but not all flood the international forums with them
What I don't understand is, after years of Americans CSers asking for a separate US forum to chat and discuss such things, the forum is not used. Instead all their political threads are posted on the International forum The US forum is the place for it.
For me, mutual attraction is important. I need to look at that person and want to do bad things with them
However, physical attraction won't sustain a relationship. There has to be real friendship, common ground, similar goals, etc. to sustain a relationship.
As for "little white indisclosures', it depends on how little and how white. I wouldn't expect someone to tell me their guilty secret is watching Coronation Street or liked strawberry flavoured toothpaste, but I would expect them to tell me if they were schizophrenic or married or had a gambling addiction.
I really hope that Britain has thought this thing through. I can see people thinking of it all as a romantic dream. Make Britain great again.. But Britain doesn't have its colonies to supply its riches and greatness anymore. It is a relatively small island which will be stuck geographically in the middle of the EU, but not in it.
2 of 4 countries, Scotland and NI, don't want to leave the EU. That only leaves half of the country which wants to leave. And I would say half the population of thst half don't want to leave either. That leaves a very small percentage that wants to leave to chase this dream of former greatness .
I think they have the right to leave, but it may not be the best thing for them or anybody else.
The EU needs to be radically restructured. And it would be better if Britain had a part in that restructuring than leaving.
