Mike, I had no idea that you were at CFNI, Awesome! They had some great Worship! When the National Street Ministries Conference used to be held in Dallas, before it moved to Phoenix, the Worship team from CFNI would lead us in Worship. It was so easy to enter into the presence of God. I took part in the conference for 13 years. Street ministry has been my favorite part of serving the Lord, feeding the homeless and allowing God to fill me and use me.

I am a giver. In my experience, I have come to know that you can not outgive God! I love to give lavishly and in abundance. The more I give away, the more that comes back for me to continue giving away!

Your last statement: "I guess we could easily say that the more you give TO God, the more you get OF God." Very TRUE! If you will choose to give God ALL of yourself, every area of your life, 100%, holding nothing back, He will reciprocate and fill you with 100% of HIM, in ALL of His Fullness!!! This is the ultimate lifestyle, the purpose for our existance, that we would become an empty vessle, be filled with His Spirit, allowing Him to have His way, to work thru you. It is the greatest blessing of all. There is no greater JOY than truely Knowing God in the most intimate of ways, making the verse, "Christ IN you, the hope of glory", ring true!

I fueled in Oklahoma City yesterday.

I paid $3.08 per gallon. This was at a 7-11.

The Sinclair station across the street was $3.35. Of course no one was buying fuel there.

Try being mindful of a situation or circumstance. Give it to God, the divine power, and wait to see the changes in that situation. You will see them, if only you Believe!

When you see for yourself, the great results which take place, without YOU helping out and getting in the way, you can begin to develop a mindset to do it all of the time. It will become a Lifestyle to you.

If you can be mindful of letting go, of every situation, every circumstance, you will be able to live truely FREE!

I know too well how you feel. I feel the same. But at the same time, I am content if I never know the love of a man. I have never known the love of a man. Do not know if I ever will. Yes, it is a desire of my heart. But it is okay if it never comes to pass. God's love will sustain me. He is number ONE!

He treats me better than any man I have known.

We are so much more fortunate than so many others in this world.

Perhaps if we were given a mate in which to share our love,
We would not give to others, when God needs us to?

It would grieve my Spirit to no end if this would happen.

I should rather be alone, without a mate, knowing that God is my husband, than not be able to carry out the desires of HIS heart!!!

I know the God you speak of.
He has done the same for me and many of my friends.
He delivered me from meth 20 years ago.
He loved me when no one else would.
He is my life and I love Him more than anything!
He is my Everything!!!

No Al, I am not contradicting myself at all.

It is their way, those in the spitual realm.
They do have influence on man and they play us, one against the other.

You can choose not to participate in their war, and rightly so, as you have no choice in the mater, it's their war, not ours. BUT, they will still do as they will, cause death to your loved ones, to make you not believe, or any number of other schemes.

Do you really think for one moment that these "Leaders" of countries who claim to be "believers" really are? The Bible says, "Youl will know them by their fruits". The "fruits of the Spirit are Love, Joy, Peace. Patience, Kindness, Gentleness and Self-control. Do our "Leaders" show these qualities or fruits? Absolutely NOT for the most part. Which would lead one to believe and those who Know the Great Spirt, that these "Leaders" are LYING!!! They CLAIM to be "believers" only to get the VOTE of other believers!!! It's a scam! It's a LIE!
God help us all if true believers acted the way these self proclaimed believing leaders do!!! I really thought you of all people were smart enough to see thru this scheme. GEEZE!!!

As for the "criminal justice system", I was once part of it. I spent many years in college and lots of money, to find out that there is INJUSTICE in the criminal justice system. I wanted no part of that corrupt system and they wanted no part of ME!

Surely you can not possibly believe that God and His emissaries have been running this planet. NOT!!! No, God is not running this show. God is here to deliver those willing to call on His Mighty Name and show Himself as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, in the midst of every war, every circumstance, every trial, every health problem and even more, to those who will believe on His name!!!

As the Bible states, "The devil roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

There is a war, there are TWO forces at work. As the end of time nears, the days will grow shorter and evil will abound greater. The love of many will grow cold. Men will become lovers of themselves and greedy.

I ask you to choose this day, whom you will serve... God or Satan?
To say you don't believe is to choose Satan. I chose Satan for a period of time in my life. All he brought me was near to death and so much destruction. He is a liar and the father of lies, a deceiver and father of those who deceive.

Al, in the spiritual war I speak of, one(man) has no choice to join or not to join. It goes on, weather or not you acknowledge it or choose to believe it is real. It is in the spirit realm, where the battle is taking place. They are battling for the souls of men. They are deamons and angels.

In the end, which side will gain your soul? The darkness or the light?

I do not believe they will both produce the same end results. I believe there is a distinctive difference.

I too agree with you, concerning people who place their animals above humans. There is a chain of command concerning living things.
I know you we will not agree here so I will not list them. I will only say that mankind is above the animals.

I have a little dog whom I have had for almost 11 years. She trucks with me, goes with me almost everywhere, sleeps with me, shares my food, listens to me, comforts me if I am sad and crying, licks my tears, (how would this dog know to do this?) and is my next best friend. However, as close as we are, I KNOW that she is a DOG! She is only here to keep me company so I do not get lonely. She makes life more pleasant and bearable.

I do not see how you can possibly say that after the example I shared.
True, we are not oxen, yet the Bible uses the senario and tells us Not to be unequally yoked together with non believers. Many do not understand what the term means, as we here in the U.S. and with modern farm equipment in use, rarely would team up oxen to plow the fields.

Not "religion" kid. Relationship! Knowing God is a relationship. When you have a very "intimate" relationship with God, you must realize that Satan sets up assignments Against you!
I have had 2 husbands since becomming a believer over 20 years ago. They were both assignments from the enemy. The story I shared above was with the 2nd husband.
The first husband, while sleeping one night, became "possessed" by an unclean spirit, growled at me and spoke in a very gruff voice, and had my husband on his hands and knees on our bed. It spoke to me the following:
"I will take him to the death! Satan sent me to destroy your walk with God. I have deceived many women and gotten them to fall away. But you, you have faith that I have not seen before. I can not get you to move!" Then it said, "I will take him to the death."(meaning my husband), crawled up to the head of the bed, got under the covers and went to sleep. I woke my husband up to tell him what had taken place. He had absolutely no recollection of it!!
I have never been bound by "religion". I have had an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. Those who have this relationship will know what I am sharing. Others may lack in understanding as it is the Holy Spirit who gives the understanding.

We may all know of couples who may not be "yoked" as I have described. But I would suggest, if they are those who have no divisions among them, that they are compromised. Meaning...
The believer is most likely not 100% committed to knowing and serving God. When you are called into the ministry, many attacks will come against you! It's fact, it's the way of the enemy. For Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. There are spiritual laws. There is a war going on in the heavenly's and placing man, one against the other is their favorite pastime!

One of the biggest mistakes true believers make, and non-believers do not understand, is for Christians to NOT be yoked together with non-believers. This is not to be taken lightly. We should be equally yoked.

To understand this senario: A yoke is placed around the neck of two oxen. One oxen may be the stronger of the two, and able to lead. The other oxen must be able to keep up with the leader, keep in step, and be strong as well. They must walk together to accomplish the work.

A house divided will not stand.

We, as true believers, are filled to overflowing with the Unconditional Love of God. Sure, we are Able to love the unlovable, and the non-believers, even to the same extent as we love our brothers and sisters who believe. BUT, these people do NOT have the God-given ability to love others in the same way. It is IMPOSSIBLE, because GOD IS LOVE. Without HIM, it is impossible to Love. They are misunderstanding of their belief in what Love is.

I know from personal experience of what I am sharing here.
I married a man who presented himself to me as a believer. We read the Bible together, prayed together etc. I actually met him while ministering to him on the road, at a truck stop. Our paths kept meeting, and we ended up marrying. The day after we were married, I turned my truck into the company I worked for, climbed aboard his truck and was immediately told: "You are not allowed to read your Bible." You are not allowed to minister anymore." You are not allowed to talk on the C.B." He actually imprisioned me.
There were times when the Holy Spirits presence was so strong, I would bask in it and weep, feeling all of HIS love. My husband would see this happening and get furrious! "I told you NOT to do that! Stop doing that right NOW!!!"
This man tried to throw me into the fireplace in our home, while it was burning, to see if my GOD would save me. He strangled me, he beat me violently. He mocked God continually and he even went to church with me!!!
I prayed for deliverance, and he ran off with another mans wife. Believe it or not, I allowed him to return home. She wrote him letters stating she wanted him to divorce me and marry her. She came to my house and helped him move out. I believe God delivered me!!
I never spoke evil against this man. We never had words of disagreement as I did not argue with him. I humbled myself and prayed. We were only married for 2 months. I survived, and I share this testimony to show others that it is VERY important to not be unequally yoked together with another. Friendship is one thing, all are accepted. But marriage is a union, where 2 become One. Oil and Water DO NOT MIX!

I was up late Friday night. I rarely ever turn on the TV. I did, and caught an old 1950's B&W film supposedly from a book written by a woman who was taken prisioner in Japan durring the war, along with her 4 year old son. It showed life in the womens prison camps and how they were beaten and treated mean by the male japanese soldiers. She and her son were reunited with her husband at the end of the war. The war ended September 11th, 1945.

I feel that the forums is the place to find like-minded people.
I have always walked to the beat of a different drum.
As I post and read others posts in the forums, I find those whom I can truely relate with.
In choosing a mate, anyone can look at photos and say, "I like your picture and I am interested."
I would rather find common ground through interaction over time. Find out what a man truely believes. What makes him who he is.
Many may appear to be just what you are looking for on the surface.
You've got to look much deeper into the heart of the person, to know where his passions lie.
The forums are the perfect place to watch that take place and really get to know others.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
I am not looking for a "date", I seek a lasting friendship.
