I have battles, I take care of my own, kindly do the same for yourself. but I do not attack entire races or cultures. such as has been done here. such a wide sweeping hatred needs to be unmasked when someone like moema attacks so nasty then starts a thread just the opposite to try to cober it up and **act** like she is such a sweetheart....hopping from one side of the fence to the other so quickly.

I have read a lot of your post in many threads, Always thought you were level headed and cool.. I am so disappointed that you have gone so far out of your way to prove me wrong in how I saw you. as I am sure many others are surprised as well. has us fooled for a while.

Thinking.. I have $$ in my pocket, $$ in the bank, equity in my home and so on.. so I am doing well.
What most fail to understand... WE have no choice but to help all of the less fortunate, build up our weak, because is the dollar crashes.. I don't care how much you have saved... it wont be worth any more than toilet paper.
The dollar crashes, we are all in the same boat... broke.
and the richest people will be the ones to suffer the greatest losses.
That is exactly what it is... a bill owed, we use to have gold to back up all of our money, but for many years now our federal reserve has been printing out much more $$ than our gold can back.
There is nothing backing our cash now, so YES, it can easily crash.
The Clinton and bush policies have just about crashed us.
But it is not too late to reverse this, if we fall it will have a global effect. Stop spending trillions and trillions to continue having troops in almost every country. bring all of our troops home, downsize our forces, worry about ourselves for a change, stop out of control spending by all branches of government, enforce the laws pertaining to Gov. officials spending.. force them to account for every dollar spent and prosecute the wrong doers, send out the message loud and clear that it stops NOW!
Hell, with the money our Gov would save by doing this, The Government could create worth while jobs for the American people, universal health care and house our millions of homeless.
OK.. many say.. we have to stay and fight in all of these Countries to keep peace, to sustain the current world order, to assure survival of certain peoples and so on.
but seriously.. if we fall.. We wont be helping anybody anymore.
Look after the USA first. We can not sustain our current total Military forces! Remember the fall of the Roman empire!!!
Well said ttom, I still wish the electoral voting system was done away with and go back just the popular vote... was pretty close race but the cheating system of electoral votes made it look like a landslide.. just not fair.
we never know for sure how the candidate on either side will perform.. once in office, I just hope Obama backs up all that he has promised!!!
McCain and keeping the wars going would have been much closer to causing the end of the world.
Guess we have 4 years to see how it goes. As per gun control.. The president only has limited say in who may get the federal permits to carry. But NOT in the state permits... That is decided on per state laws and regs. This is controlled by local elected officials.
each state has a set number of electoral votes... whichever candidate wins that state by popular vote gets all of the electoral votes for that state.
But I would like it better if it was just decided by the popular vote! forget the crooked electoral votes....
the way it is set up.. a candidate can have a majority of popular vote but still loose by electoral votes.. depending on what states they win alone. Just not right.
I think tonight showed the world that the American people are not stupid!~ but some here are so determined to disprove that.
Glad we will have a President that is smart enough to discuss world problems and is more willing and able to understand these problems and get the sides to talk in a productive manner.
Now all of the crap that I had to tolerate for placing an Obama sign in my front yard.. was well worth it!!!
free trade and outsourcing so many jobe is killing us!
free trade yes but we need to stop the outsourcing completely.. and or tariff the good so heavily from these companies that they loose $$$$ by taking the jobs outside of the USA!!
