Not dumb at all - if your motive is to appease the insurance companies. Do you really think the prime motivation for this bill is to help average people? Look where the new compulsory taxes are going to hit - right, the average-income people. Look who's going to massively benefit - insurance and drug companies (to name a few).

Why, because he has a nice smile? I'm guessing you know absolutely nothing of substance about him. For example, did you know he supports torture in defiance of the Geneva Convention? Did you know he supports imprisoning individuals without trial and without charges? Do you know who supports him? Do you know whom he's given away trillions of dollars to? Do you know he's failed to deliver on virtually every campaign promise - most particularly his promise to bring our troops home (instead, he's authorized an additional 10,000)?

What, exactly, are you basing this "decent human being" on?

I've always been rather skeptical of the notion that people who can't write coherently can somehow think coherently. In any case, the VAST majority of people aren't overweight because they are endocrinally or otherwise physically challenged. And it's physically impossible to gain weight without sufficient caloric intake. Do people who write that believe the Conservation of Energy law don't apply to human beings?

I've rarely seen a poster behave so egoistically ("cute your pics") and yet demonstrate such a lack of self-esteem ("you act like a donkey's posterior).

No true meaning. It simply shows that you're taking the process seriously. No photos means you're not caring enough to make a reasonable effort at conveying whom you are to your potential demographic.

I have a dream: every person on a singles site will post completely clear photos in a variety of poses and angles that will reduce doubt about their appearance to a minimum.

One could ask the same question about women. In the case of men, it's probably equal shares of laziness, lack of creative/artistic aptitude and/or detail-orientation, and/or an unwillingness to show how fat/homely/etc. they truly are.

I've had the privilege of seeing them perform live a few times, and...Jesus Zeus God in Olympus...unbelievable, "mad skills"! They even had the hick employees dancing when Steve Howe went wild in a guitar solo...

Their convictions may be sincere, but utterly wrong and misguided. "Tough Love" is a judgment call, and certainly doesn't have a rational foot to stand on when it's based on illogical/indefensible premises, e.g., that an otherwise good person is somehow undesirable because of skin-color, etc. That's simply moronic, and no one's moronity should be allowed to dictate your life - even when it originates in loved ones.
