RE: Albert Hofmann has died at his home in Basel, age 102, anyone remember him?

He certainly was and now the CIA papers have been declassified!

Read the book i mentioned, you will love it trust me.

RE: Soccer - Champions league tonight

Hopefully they will both stand up and earn they money with their feet. not with showing us their acting classes!

It will be interesting to see what Drgba does after the Spanish manager basically called him a cheat this week!

Psychology aside, i dont think its a bright move to insult possibly one of the best forwards in the world, when playing on their home turn and not want to motivate him to make him eat his words.

Was a dumb thing to say to say the least! Right ill switch the radio on and listen to the laughter if it goes madlaugh

RE: Albert Hofmann has died at his home in Basel, age 102, anyone remember him?

Leary wasn't bringing it to the masses, he was conducting field trials for an Intelligence Agency.

RE: Albert Hofmann has died at his home in Basel, age 102, anyone remember him?

Ah, ok.

A great place to start with a highly readable book is "The search for the Manchurian Candidate" by John Marks ISBN 0 393 30794 - 8.This book is truly amazing and its all properly referenced and superbly written and has a great bibliography to help expand your reading on the subject.

I started with this book, as its in print, will be available worldwide and will be pretty much in any library!

Trust me, you'll be hooked, i read the book when i was 14 or 15 for reasons i wont go into and have studied the subject ever since!

RE: Albert Hofmann has died at his home in Basel, age 102, anyone remember him?

I never thought i'd see hs name appear on a dating site!

La Roche supplied a little too much due to a mistake in the decimal point on a CIA purchase order!!

To say they bought in bulk was an understatementlaugh

The rest was history an Timothy Leary handed the stuff out on University Campuses while he was working for the powers that be.

Remarkable history, one that is possibly the most interesting in psychology and crimed against humanity ever discovered and declassified due to a proper set of hearings "The Church Committee Hearings".

If anyone is interested ill happily suggest some fascinating books that will make your toes curl up!

RE: Soccer - Champions league tonight

It's going to be very odd watching to English Teams competing for the top team prize in football, especially when the teams might only have a few English players in the Teamslaugh

I dont mind who wins long as its a good game, without cheating.

RE: Banner Ads.Do they really work?

I've never clicked on them but somehow i doubt "sofie" needs to be on a dating site. She is so blatantly a model that if she cant get a date by just clicking her fingers i will bet my left nut to prove her wrong!laugh

RE: Can you believe it?

Ah, there's multitudes of physical signs of people lying that can be identified.I just cant type another long post!

Most interesting one is when you ask a question watch the eyes, and depending which direction they look in you can tell if their accessing memory or imagination.

There's loads of them actually if you know what to look for.

RE: FAVORITE PERFUMES for a WOMAN.

See, low expectations and high achievement. Its the best way to be and laugh about it all, all at the same timelaugh

RE: FAVORITE PERFUMES for a WOMAN.

I don't mind what anyone smell of, as long as its not rancid body odour or stale pisslaugh

RE: WHATS THE WIERDEST JOBS YOU'RE EVER HEARD OF PEOPLE WANTING TO DO ? WHY BE A DENTIST PODIATRICIAN ?

I had no idea their was such a job! It must be the bird equivalent of working in a stud farm?

RE: WHATS THE WIERDEST JOBS YOU'RE EVER HEARD OF PEOPLE WANTING TO DO ? WHY BE A DENTIST PODIATRICIAN ?

What is a PODIATRICIAN ?

RE: Are you a High or Low Maintenance person??

Low as you can get, i'm totally self reliant......well at the moment i'm a bit smashed up but normally i dont have to rely on anyone for anything.

RE: How do men know what to wear?

It's east for me, i just head into the nearest Debenhams and head to where Jasper Conrans and John Rocas gear is, pick up a pile and head to the tilllaugh

Proof that theres someone out there for everyone!!

I've linked or tried to post the video on this website, but theres currently a fault.

Soon as its all operational ill post it there for all to see!!

Proof that theres someone out there for everyone!!

Here's a link, enjoy!!

RE: Since this thing isn't really working to help me find a date, how about I ask a question that's been

Thanks dear.

I made the choice of driving instructor over the career as a counsellor 2 years ago!

I chose option 1 so i didn't have a constant stream of upsetting stories to deal with, which ultimately would have torn me to bits, i think.sigh

RE: Randomly Post the First Thing That Pops Into Your Head Thread

Why eat cabbage, that been boiled? Tasteless and looks like something the dog sicked up after a run in the woods.

RE: What do you do when someone's in your face........

If on the other hand this is one from an aggressive standpoint and there's imminent danger of it all going pear shaped i suggest the following, if your right handed.

Place your right thump in their left eye socket, put your left foot on the rear of their left calf, and depress them down onto their knees.

Put your left arm underneath their chin and lock their throat inside your arm like a vice and then tell them don't move and tell them why you just restrained them.

If they struggle get someone to call the police.

I wont tell you what to do if a fried of their try's to intervene though but a glare will make them focus!

I'm available as "a consultant" if you have a large enough budgetblushing

RE: What makes your face flush ?

Walking out the Airport at Singapore International Airport.

The heat his you like walking into a Glass factory or an oven.My god it took me off my feet after flying out of LA.

RE: Favorite City

Definately the local culture! I like what the locals do and i prefer to mix with them and stay away from the Tourists.

If you know some people in Paris you will discover an entirely different Paris than the tourist who gets of a bus sees.

Ever since i got the guided tour so to speak i have never looked back, and have happily travelled on my own to meet the locals wherever i go!

I make friends fast, normally before i even get off a plane in some cases!laugh

RE: Favorite City

I'll chip in another, Florence, and definately Buenos Aries, i love Argentina.grin

RE: Favorite City

It's a long way to come to sit in Hyde park, though its nice there. It's a long way to look at london Zoo, especially as most of the amimals are somewhere else.

If you want some ideas of what to see ill happily point out a website or too for you to explore from anything fom restaurants to music venues and some more unusual things.

I dont like the blatant commercialism and the rude people there, who wont generally give people the time of day.But im glad you enjoyed it as its good for a visit occasionally. The city isnt a place to live through, and some areas are truly terrible, "The Elephant and Castle" being one of them.

You managed to find cheap accomadation ok? Thats not that easy in london if you dont know what your doing! I think the average nightly rate is about £125 a night near Liverpool street station for instance! Weekends are even worse.

For that sort of money i'd rather explore somewhere else!!!

RE: Favorite City

Yes i agree, though i wouldn't want to be there if there was a football match on!

RE: Favorite City

There isnt much that is free in london, you must have visited when they did a freebie, though some ask for a voluntary donation.

Kew Gardens is nice, but its not in London, well london i mean as the city of london.London covers a huge sprawling area.

The natural history museum is wonderful, as are some of the others and as for art its ironic as i sell it!!

There's plenty of galleries, Like the tate or the tate modern and i recommend the South bank as an area to hang out on a sunday or saturday when the weathers nice.

Theres lots to do and see in london, though when you live here everywhere its an exersise to empty your pockets at premium for the lowest standard thats possible.

I lost count of how many countries i have visited, but ive travelled all over the globe, though havent made it to Australia or NZ yet.One day ill have to try to list them all, but they must include every country in asia, lots in south america, africa and europe of course.

I did remember the temperature difference in one day from 38 degrees to minus 20 degrees within 12 hours!!!

Nowadays i move less and see more at a comfy pace!

I like visiting new places and have a plan for Xmas for me and cpl of othe people later in the year if my plans go ok!

RE: What do you do when someone's in your face........

This is what you say to them

"What the hell did you have for lunch, a dead dog and stale beer?"

If that fails belch, break wind and then say excuse me i have to go apply some more cream on my scabies scabs and they will soon run for the hills.

RE: Favorite City

I loves San Francisco and was there the day/week before the earthquake wrecked the beautiful marina.

I was gutted when i went back through work and saw how much had changed.

States wise for different reasons i like Denver,Colorado Springs,Seattle and Boston, well Boston got better on the way outlaugh

If anyone says London i suggest they havent travelled much!!! It's overpriced, filthy and overrated, and 20 miles down the road. The best part of london is the airports departure loungelaugh
