Thanks Gilly - I think we are both beating our heads on a wall though, especially having to explain in particular Catholicism as I and others have seen it and its treatment of various peoples throughout history to those who blindly support it.

They probably never read anything deeper about religious matters than the Bible nor have they discussed the social aspects of it after it left Rome with, and learned more about it from, anthropologists and theologians.

Mine are pretty self evident if you care to see my pics and read my profile -

I think the less I try to explain in a few words what took well over 50 years to gain knowledge of, the better, because in public there is always a problem, but I would like to see a proper CS forum for hobbyists by listings and operated by a serious minded empahetic moderator - If one exists.

I have the Merlin II Handbook plus several other books dedicated to Merlin engines and even the Griffon in the Dennis library here at Blasphemy Hall - probably regarded by some as Illegal as some of it says RESTRICTED

Also have **Spitfire - The History** (by Morgan & Shacklady second edition) The MUST for all enthusiasts, covering all development and production details of all the marks and derivatives. Then there is the ultimate Book at present IMO
** Spitfire Mk 1X & XV1 engineered** (very heavy and expensive) covering all aspects of construction with scale GA's and other drawings.

That lot would probably scare a few off even after the first three pages in each book but just think how nice it would be if we discovered one intelligant woman or more with similar interests

My mate with the V12 Jag/Transit had a plastic bumper job given to him as payment for a job and it was just like yours - A BL Friday car until we got stuck in and rebuilt it from the bottom up and fitted it with the chrome bumpers and WW's but it took a year

I don't think you the only one who reads - I certainly do although my choice is mainly non fiction but still might not suit many people especially on these forums because it does not include novels or political religious and what I think are trivial matters.

Wendy Richard was a lady and IMO is incomparable to Jade Goody although I would not wish Jade such an early tragic death from the invasive circumstances as she has.
