Scottishlass--I don't know her well, but she is always positive and kind, here on CS she seems like a really unique person for being so reasonable and upbeat and generous spirited. Hope to be better friends as time goes by.

This is a Catholic community....a community dominated by the Church. Though there is a problem in the community with teen pregnancy, the students at this high school have to travel to another town to get contraceptives. Also, apparently these girls wanted a child because they had low self esteem and wanted a baby for unconditional love.

I am not attacking the Catholics per se, but organized religion...how is it working when this is the atmosphere in the community? A very religious community? What's the purpose of religion? Only to set rules and judge, or to help people live better lives? Where is the love these girls should be feeling? Where is the support?

It's really a personal thing--I think it is okay to have individual preferences in what is attractive.

I have never been really attracted to a man less than 5' 9". I guess it is superficial, but then they care about things like weight, hair color, etc. So it maybe just depends on what people's individual preferences are.

I've never been there. Why were you there? What's it like?

I've been to Munich, Heidleberg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Nuremberg...and some smaller towns...I haven't been here all that long, about 8 months, and I travel by train only. Also have been to Strassbourg, Basel, Zurich, the Black Forest...
