Question For The Guys

Question For The Guys

Yup. That's the risk taken when trying to be a good neighbor. And that is what prompted this question. It's been a long time ago, but the last 2 times I tried to be uh, helpful, I was ridiculed. So, just decided to let the consequences occur as they may. Those guys can just go around town looking like a skid row bum idiot if it suits them better than taking well meant advice.

RE: Ever call someone's bluff?

Might not be quite the same thing, but someone had tried to IM me (twice) so I decided to write a short but polite response. Then he appeared to get angry (?). I deleted and blocked the booger.

RE: Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Thanx, Snuggs. You're the cat's pajamas. (uh, that's a compliment for anyone who hasn't heard the term.) And you're right-on, too!teddybear

Question For The Guys

Would you tell another guy that his fly/zipper was open?

RE: Why do young men like elder women so much?

This is the stuff of dime novels. The cruel joke of nature. Women are at their intimate peak later. i.e. the forty or fifty-something bored housewife having an affair with the nineteen year old pool boy, etc. etc... It is not at all unusual.

RE: Anxiety Attacks

B I N G O . thumbs up thumbs up get rest. if you are working a lot (50+ hrs a week) or trying to work 2 jobs, this can be a factor. Being overly concerned about events, etc... try to remember that most of what we worry about never "happens". (true). Get good rest, luv.bouquet

RE: should he stand up for his woman

Attitude---Can we talk?

You got it. Reminds me of the story about a Westerner traveling in Belgium. Irritated with the colloquial and seemingly overly-good manners of one farmer, the Westerner said, "You folks are like an old tire!" "How come you say this"? asked the little Belgian. "'Cause you're full of hot air"! said the Westerner. The Belgian scratched his head for a minute, then said, "Yes, I am tire. Full of air. But it make ride smoother".handshake

Attitude---Can we talk?

I know that, my friend. Have met some wonderful, wonderful folks - some very, very good people from Nelson. Thanks for writing.handshake

RE: I need another opinion

Be strict. Do give him ONE chance. Everyone has mistakes and regrets. I really don't like the stealing part, that can be a hurdle (for him and you). I say give him one more chance, but that's IT. Best...comfort

Attitude---Can we talk?

thumbs up

Attitude---Can we talk?

NO, it is NOT good to be rude. Now be nice!

Attitude---Can we talk?

rose rose rose rose rose Thanks, Luv. THAT'S fwhat I'm talking about. You're beautiful, inside and out. lips

Attitude---Can we talk?

You are right on. It did bug me (I admit it) that the very topic I was trying to talk about was being disrespected. If one did not agree with the topic matter, then don't participate in the forum. IT'S EASY. Right???

Attitude---Can we talk?

I have always heard that New Zealanders were courteous and considerate. Very disappointed in you. This forum is probably not the best choice for your brand of humor--it wasn't the intent. But hey, it's not like anyone can stop you. Very disappointed in you. Thought you were a nice guy.

RE: Are you good in bed?

Attitude---Can we talk?

Finding many of the various forums very informative and entertaining. I have some reflections concerning some of the attitudes (the seemingly 'not-so-nice' ones). For instance, there seems to be some delight taken in being a "B" or a "P"; also people sort of bragging that they can dish out whatever they feel like, etc. I do not believe being a "B" or a "P" is something to be proud of, and I think bad/negative attitudes really, really suck, and I LOVE the bumper sticker that says, "Mean People Suck" because it is absolutely true. I realize that folks are trying to be "funny", but there is nothing funny about being unkind. Your thoughts? Thanxhandshake

RE: Are you good in bed?

HEY! (bit I'm LMAO-to Jupiter!)

RE: Are you good in bed?

So hot I turn myself on, Tiger. Whoever it is that you are in bed with, taking the time is the key. Do some P.T. ing, (either way !) and make sure you really do like the other person. Terrible to give or take something so nice casually. And no one really wants it like that. hug

RE: Are you... jealous????

Don't know for sure, but I will tell you this: Years ago I was very much in love with a woman, and I really thought I was a good old easy-going "not jealous" type. Well, about a year into our cohabitation, I found myself getting annoyed if another man even talked to her. (I did not react, though). Also, a really god friend from my childhood (a lady) met me with hugs and quite a lot more (!) and that caused a rift. Some of us don't mean to be jealous, I think it is human nature.

RE: my name is john

Welcome John. Hope you have good experiences here. Most of the folks are cool-lotsa fun sometimes. And once in awhile, we actually learn something-or get a different point of view. Have a blast, kiddo.handshake

Wondering why a thread would be "locked"

This is just a little theory, but might be the case. The guy who wrote called some of the other writers names, "Roaches, etc..." and some wrote back that they didn't appreciate it. The site is very clear on no name calling, and another thought is this guy complained himself because he didn't like being told off for being nasty to others. "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". Thanx for your writing, too.handshake

Wondering why a thread would be "locked"

Just reading a few threads and noticed the one titled "Why do people snoop on the forums, etc....) is locked. I didn't see any thing I would call harsh or negative, although many writers were very honest. Does anybody know? I did not notice any other locked threads, but haven't looked at all, either.
