The only film that I saw with this title starred Rita Hayworth Jack Lemmon and Robert Mitchum,almost 50 years ago!The title song was fantastic.I still remember it from all those years back .Maybe the one you refer to was a remake.

Thursday's Chuckle Time.

3 men were out hiking in the forest when they came across a river in full flood.

Needing to get across to the other side ,the 1st man prayed to God to give him the strength to cross over.

Poof and God gave him strong arms and legs to swim across.It took him nearly 2 hours and he almost drowned twice.

The 2nd man prayed to God to give him the strength and tools to make a boat.

Poof and God had provided the tools and strength to make a boat.It took him over an hour to row across, and he nearly capsized twice.

The 3rd man prays to God and asks for strength ,tools and the intelligence to cross the swollen river.

Poof and God turned the 3rd man into a woman.She checked the map,hiked 100 metres up river and walked across the bridge.

I was going to put this on as a thread so thanks for that!I have had so many men in their 40's send me mail and wanting to be "with me".None of them have appeared on"who's viewed me" so why do they chose to contact a woman of my years who states quite clearly she only wants penpals etc.

It's not even flattering in my opinion,and some of them won't take no for answer!I always reply saying I am not wanting a relationship even though in "looking for" I have put honesty more important than....... because ,basically, even if I correspond with someone, I still expect honesty.
