RE: So...did I make a mistake here?

You look great in green by the way!wave

RE: WTF...???

Do you want to be his nurse or his sweetheart?

Couldn't agree with you more Snuggs.

As for comments to Gingerb I think that Gingerb was correct in the assumption that the O.P. did not respond or reply to the threads.I suggested she block him but it tok about 6 or 7 more comments and and a further suggestion of the same ilk by another respondee before the O.P. took up the suggestion. Why do we bother!

RE: I've come to a realization

Just a few gems that I sent to some one recently.Hope they help

No man is worth your tears , and the one who is wont make you cry.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before we meet the right one! That way when we finally meet that person we will know how to be grateful.

And Finally

Don't cry because it's over Smile because it happened.

RE: I've come to a realization

At last some positivity from you Sweetowen.Keep it up. hug

RE: what was the MAX AGE DIFFERENCE you had in your past relationships?

When I was 35 I met a guy who was 11 years younger than me.We had a good relationship until I had to undergo a hysterectomy when I told him to leave as I was unable to bear him a child.

At 59 we met up again,he divorced with 3 children under 10, and got back together. It worked for a year or so but as his children were living with his ex and he only had access he became very depressed, and it destroyed the love unfortunately.

RE: What is the hardest thing

Me too! He died on holiday in Sri Lanka and it was a nightmare as my sister-in-law was unable to call out to the U.K and the message came from an operator in Colombo. My Father was just recovering from a major heart attack and I had to break this awful news, then deal with the problem of getting his body home. That was 34 years ago but it still hurts to this day.angel

Gruesome pictures!

These are too realistic not to be genuine and quite horrific.Apparently they were taken by a man standing in the aisle in front of the passngers and are too horrible even to describe.Aso I would have thought a couple in the photo could easily be recognised.

They were taken by a passenger[ I do have his name] on a digital Casio Z750.The camera was destroyed but the memory stick survived.

Gruesome pictures!

Surely that's a cherry!

RE: Advice, please...and I'm listening

Way to go Dru.Well done on your journey of discovery and good luck!peace

RE: thoughest times of our life...

Why are we discussing benefits. That word was never mentioned in the O.P.s thread

RE: thoughest times of our life...

Sorry Morgan,I have lost plenty of people close to me at a very young age and about to have it happen again.I can't stop the process but deal with it the best way I can.We are all different in the way we handle grief

RE: thoughest times of our life...

Life is cruel at times which is why we have to draw strength to deal with whatever comes our way.The forums are great but real life prevails and S--t happens.

RE: thoughest times of our life...

If we knew what was going to happen in our lives we would all be psychics and have no need to come to the forums with our recurring problems. What I meant was that you either sink or swim by decisions you make in life.Good bad or indifferent they are choices that only we can make.

RE: WTF...???

Block him from checking you out all the time. That might get a reaction if that's what you want.

RE: Do muslims have a right to exist?

Everyone has a right to live, though it does depend on how they chose to do it.We should all have a little more compassion and respect other people's lifestyles.

RE: What are u eating or drinking now?

Past times remembered! How old were the eggs?

RE: Question

One night stands lead to one night wonders.i.e. I wondered what happened to whats-his-name ? J.M.O.

It's that silly time of night!

The guy in the Office wants to take a sickie so he can go out with his mates. He knows he can't just ask for the time off so thinks up a cunning plan

Just before the Boss walks in he throws himself at the overhead light and swings upside down telling the typist he is a light bulb.

In walks the Boss and asks why his accountant is hanging from the ceiling.

"He thinks he's a light bulb" she replies.

With that the boss decides his worker is in need of a break so tells him to take a couple of days off.

He thanks the Boss and goes to leave followed by the typist.

"Just a minute " says the Boss to the typist !where do you think you're going? "

"Home " she replies " I can't work in the dark"
