I like to avoid tourist seasons, so, in as much, I need to figure out, if possible, a best time to do so without running into a lot of bad weather.

Skin color hasn't ever meant much for me. But, Friday night, early in the latest Star Trek movie, I sorta had to rethink this, just briefly, while watching lieutenant Uhura's roommate make love with a young mouth-breather James Tiberius Kirk.

This lover had a very bright green skin color. Don't know which planet she is supposed to be from but it obviously meant nothing to a pre-Captain Kirk. Nor would it me.... Space, the final Frontier.....

'Obamacare' although not a term of endearment for a lot of people, is no longer a term of derision. President Obama announced several years ago that he likes the term, because he 'cares'; which is why he fought so hard for it.

Good question. not sure about what happens if the U.S. National Debt goes unpaid, and probably increases, but.........

since our debt is primarily owed to ourselves and if we paid our national debt off, we could:

afford Obamacare,
pay for our retiring seniors' medicare and social security when due and with meaningful cost of living adjustments,
rebuild and update our infrastructure,
doubles the size of our military,
legalize almost everything,
evangelize every ism,
Provide everyone with free birth control to keep feminist happy,
distribute playboy and penthouse magazines, monthly to every home,
and stop using so much ink and paper by borrowing new money from other countries instead of from ourselves again.

To help the U.S. and Global economies..... I would like to see a one-year Global flat income tax of 10%*** paid to the USA. Tax proceeds to pay on the U.S. debt.

*** Greece pays 20% and given worker visas to work on the president Bush's residents in Texas, helping U.S. disabled Veterans for one-month each.

Yep, no doubt Italy has an ugly history. If not for WWII, citizens here would probably still use the Roman Salute. Now, instead, we hold the right hand over the heart while pledging allegiance etc.
