Hmmmmmmmmmm........ Not so sure about that. Not really my style either way. Give me some Queens of the Stone age and I'd be out bopping. Sean Kingston? My ex's 16 year old was a big fan. I feel old just saying the name.
Some people are scared. It may be that they're scared of meeting you and being a disappointment. Or it could be that they don't want to meet you and are scared to say so. It's not nice either way but presume it's the first instance every time.
Fair point, but most phones come with a block option these days and even if not. I wouldn't be giving it out after a few messages, maybe msn is the next step, then followed by phone. I think it's easier to get mislaid on a night out cause of alcohol. Whereas, if you're are chatting to someone properly on this, you can get a better sense of who they are.
I think people put too much stock in internet dating like it's the bottom of the barrel. Find someone on this or you're doomed. I've met people on this site it didn't work out with and people in real life it didn't. Be it, for normal everyday reasons or more dramatic ones. Don't think of this as any different than the real world. Go to any club and there'll be girls looking to get over their ex, or he's still in their life in some way. Just take it like this place is a pub (only easier to hear the people you're talking to) then you'll realise that you're not getting disillusioned with this site, but with all of dating. It happens, move on, play some pick-me-up tunes, stick a smile on your face and try again.
That was a bit of a past joke about old members. But you've got me intrigued now. What exactly is casual bingo?? Is everyone wearing slippers and only marking off their numbers if they can be bothered? Cause I've seen real granny bingo and those gals are ruthless.
I think it was more the fact that she thought it was so outrageously funny that anyone could think I looked under 21. Just cause you're still thrilled about HAVING i.d. love.
Was a bit of a thread hijack but as you weren't the OP and the story was strange, it didn't seem to matter. I wouldn't worry too much. I only read what went on tonight and no-one seemed to take it seriously.
