The first one is ok. I could sit through it more than once. The second one is pretty boring but nothing at all that could be considered scary. If she can watch the first, she'll be fine with the second. Although the third might be scarier judging from the books and trailers but you might have opened a door you can't close at that point. She'll really want to see it.
If she's not around all the time, my parents used to watch films they thought might scare me and decide. At least that way you'll be able to judge first hand.
They're not a bad watch. First one is better and I haven't seen the third but they're certainly not scary in the slightest. Depending on what she normally watches, I'd say most 8 year olds would be ok.
You won't yet. Sure it's only out in the cinema. It'll just be people with camcorders. To wait for very good online quality, the dvd has to be out or coming out soon.
I don't even think it depends on the one person. A couple can just click and make each other fantastic. I've been crap with one person and amazing with others. If there's no spark then it won't last. Sure that'll fade with time but when you are together, it'll still be amazing.
