I treat this place the same as a pub. I go to have a laugh and talk to friends. If I happen to meet someone, then great, if not, still had fun. Sure a lot of girls at a club would give out a fake number rather than actually taking a chance (or just tell you to piss off) but it doesn't mean I wouldn't keep trying. Don't get disheartened.
Sweet. I'll still make the Dublin meet thread for next month anyway as a proper thread for everyone and be in touch about any other nights. The weekend of the 16th I have my mothers 60th so I'll be running out to the airport for relatives and sleeping on my couch but keep me in mind for any others.

I know Ciaran was looking for it to conincide with his birthday and when he did a poll for the date, The majority went for 7th August. I've mailed him to see if he wants to request the sign up or if he's happy with me to do it. He hasn't been on in a while I don't think so if he doesn't answer me, I'll just do it.
I'd love to go but damned if I'm paying 350 to see about 3 bands I'd really LOVE to see, about 3 or 4 I wouldn't mind and a load I don't care about. I know there is a load more to do there but it's SO bloody expensive. And that's just the ticket. You can probably double that when you take into accountfod and drink. I'd rather pay that on a holiday to a sunny spot with a cheap currency.
Was just trying to think of the name of that place. I love it. Excellent smoking area. Roof, heaters, dancefloor and bar. It's like being able to smoke inside again.
Ciaran is supposed to be organising one for the first weekend of August to coincide with his birthday. If he hasn't got one up by the end of this weekend, I'll just use the details he wanted and fire one up myself.
