Sure we wee saying this. Doesn't have to be dancing at the top of the eiffel tower. Just making you feel appreciated and special is the most romantic thing I think
I'd say I've got more romantic as I've got older. Sure when you're younger it's all about going out and getting pissed and scoring. Maybe it's cause I'm dating women and not girls now. Girls would like the flashy expensive stuff and women can appreciate the little things you do that don't cost anything but mean a whole lot more.
True enough. I suppose it's a defense mechanism to make sure you don't go back when you force yourself to only remember the bad but if love is 1000 tiny things, and none of those tiny things got done, ah, I'm delving too far into this. Everyone has had a bad relationship they stayed in, including me. It's so easy to question when you're not the person experiencing it.
I suppose so. My ex barely ever lifted a finger either so I was being hypocritical. Still, firm believer in effort being made. And you're right, even a long hug with a whispered thankyou makes it feel like you're getting paid for the effort
Is this why all the ex's ARE ex's???? I've heard a lot of people say about ex's never lifting a finger etc. So annoying that these lovely women end up with guys like that.
(Well, obviously not "end up" cause they're ex's but ou get the point )
So, you knew how much it would cost, you knew you didn't want to pay that, and you bought it anyway? Not the cleverest move. Well I know that there's plenty of checks, I know that if you get in an accident you'll get it seized, and I know some cops that just check random cars when they're driving around. Plus! You may want to check that there isn't a clause in your insurance about driving without tax cause some companies don't insure un-taxed cars and if you hit someone it'll be a mess.
If you want less tax, you should research before you buy them. Everyone has to pay it and besides, you get caught, you pay a lot more than that, so your choice
Aw. That's lovely. My Best friend is going out with a guy who studies in Cork. He had to stay down there for the weekend and she said she missed him. So, likewise, he ravelled up by bus and was there by the evening. First she hit him for lying when she'd called an hour earlier and he said he was in the library and then obviously she was delighted. I was in hers watching a movie. Talk about an awkward moment. Couldn't get out the door fast enough to not see a display.
Love those little moments that seem like nothing but they're really the foundation of your relationship. Even after you break up, they're still ingrained and you can have a good friendship too. You should look for her on facebook.
That star-sign crap is weird. My last 3 girlfriends were all Cancer! Making a change now. Scorpio is on my mind a lot. Supposed to be trouble both having the same star sign but I don't really believe in it anyway so we'll see.
Research time. What's the most romantic things someone has done for you while you were dating? Obviously while you're properly going out with someone, surprise weekends away and jewellery etc are the norm so I mean something that had you think "wow" while you were just dating.
Toy Story 3 Predators (I know you're not looking forward to it SSL but my friend said it's better than Predator 2, and Robert Rodriguez can do wonders with should-be-crap movies) Inception. Harry Potter 7
The list will increase as they come out. There's loads I'm looking forward to like The Avengers and Thor but they won't be out for a long time
Shrek 4 was ok. Fun but not as good as the others. But the others were ace so it's hard to keep to such a standard.
You've a good point. I'm a smoker but I'm fully aware that it may annoy other people. I don't smoke around non smokers unless I really need to and even then I make sure I step back from them and NEVER smoke in their house or near kids etc. I know all the usual explanations of people who eat badly, have kids, drink and everything. But I don't have to date those people if I don't want to and you should be able to choose whether you want to date someone, like me, who smokes. It's an unhealthy habit that can directly hurt the people you are close to and I completely understand why you wouldn't want to date someone who does. But, on the other hand, I do so I think smokers have to be very aware about who they're around and where they are when they do. I hate smokers who smoke in the car with their kids, in non-smokers houses, on busses. Basically any situation where the people around them don't have a choice as to whether or not they want to be near it. But I hate the PUB ban!!! Hypocritical, I know.
What's the most romantic thing
You really are the CS equivalent of the Todd.
