Ah. If people aren't from the forums, it'd be harder anyway. We were thinking more along the lines of people who talk, like a couple of girls but haven't the nerve to ask them out and risk everone on the forums knowing. This is just a nice little way of finding out if the person you like, feels mutually.
yeah, that's fair. It would still need some work on your part to get your name on the list. This isn't fool prof but I've seen people who obviously like each other, flirt continuously and yet neither of them actually do anything about it. This is more like a friend walking up and saying "He likes you, you like him, I know it, not DO something about it". It won't always work as simply as that but if there isn't a match straight away, don't think of it as you not being liked. Think of it as my old school report.
Yep. I think some people are too afraid of rejection. Especially when it's someone they don't really know. Sure hopefully this will take some of that away.
Think we should keep it to people that you'd actually want to go on a datewith. That way everyone's on the same page. Otherwise you have one going thinking it's a date and one looking for a "laugh". Could lead to some hurt feelings. If it ends up just being a laugh and nothing romantic happpens, then you've made a new friend, but we shouldn't be going into it looking for that.
I could name about 20 off the top of my head. We've just noticed that there's a few people that dance around each other flirting on this dating site with actually DATING. Just thought it;s a handy way to find out if someone likes you without having to put yourself up for rejection. If your match doesn't come up, then it doesn;t mean it's over, just means you have to work harder to get yourslef thought of.
But no-ones forcing anyone. If you prefer to do things your own way, like Passion8, then that's fine too.
That's the point though Modders. We both promise that we will NEVER spill who was on the list unless the 2 of you match. There's nothing to lose and at least you know without having to wonder.
Got a few lists now but what I'll post another thread in a couple of days after this one has setted in and we have the hang of it to go with your idea. Just a list of people up for it and we can do the best we can to arrange a good blind date.
Not a bad idea atually. If there's a dead-on match, might as well go with that and see if it works. If not and people are left over, I'll see if the people involved would be interested in a blind date?
