So they should be. Looks are a thing for me too. Not in an everyday fhm/playboy- this girl is hot - kinda way but I believe you have to be attracted to the girl you want to be with.

But I couldn't be with some gorgeous girl who had the personality of a teaspoon. It's gotta be someone I'm attracted to who challenges me, makes me laugh and comforts me when I can't laugh.

If I don't find that, I'll be happier single.

Ok, fair point. But taking looks and instant attraction out of it, it takes time to really get to know someone and I've found that people are more honest in the way they talk and their opinions when they are typing. That's the way it is with me anyway.

People aren't genuine in clubs. Low lit lighting, beer goggles, loud music and (in the case of a woman - most of the time) done up hair and face.

Show me a girl that I love to look at first thing in the morning, or when sick a couple of months down the road. That's genuine!

Besides, what's to stop me telling people I'm a doctor in a club?

Either are easy enough but it's what you want to get out of it that's harder. Getting a girl in a club has the issue that she will think you want a one-nighter and quite often she does too so I don't pull in clubs. If I'm getting on well with a girl, I'll take her number and tell her I'll call her the next day to get to know her properly. If she doesn't want that, fair enought but I've done the "quick-lay" scene and the thoughts of it now just wearies me.

On here, I think it's harder to get people to see you're genuine cause of all the a**hole that float around just looking to wind people up but you get a chance to talk without having the alcohol (he says sipping a beer) or pulling-crowd get in the way.

Fight Club. Well written, well directed and well acted. Also a great adaptation form the book. One of the better book to movies I've ever seen.
