Why wouldn't they be allowed to defend themselves if they felt their lives where in danger?
Nowhere in any statute does it say the only time live ordinance can be carried or used is during time of marshal law.
If the students were merely peaceful demonstrators, did the guardsman throw rocks at one another just for a reason to shoot? Is that what you're saying?
So let me get this straight, we're indicting people on fraud from false oil spill claims....yet we can't get one simple indictment handed down for Assange for espionage?
Marshal Law doesn't have to be envoked....And again, not sure how much more simply I can put this....Why would you throw rocks at people that have guns and not expect the outcome that became?
We've always lived in a Republic...Nowhere in the Constitution does it even mention the word Democracy.
Whether I knew someone there or not, does not take away from the fact that you simply do not throw rocks at people that are holding guns...Again, common sense.
You're right, we shouldn't have been involved in Vietnam to the extent that we were, we should have been further involved, including an invasion of the North instead of fighting a defensive war.
But to add...That's why there are standards to getting a higher education...Because it is to be earned, not wasted on those that simply cannot comprehend what is being taught.
Although I agree that people should accept one another for who they are, there is also the art of compromise that must be reached as well sometimes about some things. It's a matter of finding what it is we are willing to compromise about ourselves, and what we are willing to accept from others that really challenges the relationship.
Not to mention, the students took pieces of the ROTC building that they destroyed, and hurled them at the National Guardsmen, stiking one in the knee (which was severe enough to send the Guardsman to the hospital)....Here's a thought, don't assault people with guns...you may get shot.
Well...In a sense...I mean, I'm sure that I'd enjoy it but, that being said, I think there is also a chance that it could complicate things as well. Again, hard to really explain in detail in a thread.
Well....It was supposed to reach the mid 30's, and there wasn't supposed to be any snow....however, neither happned...it was low 30's with quite a bit of snow....I have now figured the weatherman to be a liar.
Although it is a fantasy, and I have had the chance...In practice, it really isn't something that I'd want to do.
I know it's a bit contridictory to say that it's a fantasy, but also something I'd not want to do in practice...but it's really hard to really explain otherwise.
RE: Say something about something, or anything. :)
What the hell is up with the mass poster?
