To be perfectly honest, yes, there are aspects of myself that I could be defined as a loser...However, that does not mean I do not think well of myself. I think we've all had moments in life were we've felt absolutely stupid or been totally disappointed with ourselves.
I could not vote yes or no, because simply of the above reasons. In general, I feel as though I am a good person and not a loser, but there are things I look back on with deep regret and think otherwise.
Well after looking Ali, it certainly does....How can you love all religions, if this in fact is what the Koran says:
Kill disbelievers wherever you find them. If they attack you, then kill them. Such is the reward of disbelievers. (But if they desist in their unbelief, then don't kill them.) 2:191-2
The disbelievers, they are the wrong-doers. 2:254
Don't be friends with non-Muslims. They all hate you and want to ruin you. 3:118
We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Their habitation is the Fire 3:151
Allah will bestow a vast reward on those who fight in religious wars. 4:74
The disbelievers are an open enemy to you. 4:101 ---
If non-believers are the enemy, how is it that you can love them?
If my child is the aggressor, he/she deserves the what's coming to them. Don't get me wrong, I'll love the kid, but I have little sympathy for bullies.
I agree 100% about the police. That being said, if my child is being beat by someone, I definitely think someone should come to their aid, because I would theirs.
What I thought the OP was referring to was, that I should rely on neighbors or the community to parent for them.
