I don't understand how anyone can defend these leaks...There is nothing to gain "In the pursuit of truth". It has caused more death, than it has helped....Imagine how much recruitment value the enemy got with the release of the video of when the Americans killed civilians with an AH-64 Apache...Yes, it is a tragedy what happened, and I mourn the dead, however, all it did was bolster enemy recruitment, which in turn means more dead for the coalition forces fighting them.
Then there are the numerous informants that have been killed in pursuit of freedom for their respective countries. These men & possibly women, went out of a limb for what they believed in and placed faith in the United States that they would be brought to no harm. These leaks have done nothing but tarnish the faith in which these informants operate in. I know if I was a foriegn informant, I now would think twice as to whether my name would be confidential.
Then there are the diplomatic communiques. The countries such as Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, now have lost faith in that we can't even keep a discussion hush hush, about the removal of I'mANutJob from Iran....This is very sensitive in their culture & religion to discuss the removal of a fellow Muslim...And with the release of these leaks, Wikileaks effectively has made it impossible for us to take any action against Iran, which is and has confirmed they are, developing nuclear weapons. We will find it extremely more difficult to get cooperation from the nations in the region.
Then there are the conversations where we are assessing those such as Kim Jong...If for whatever reason, he takes what was said in a confidential conversation, personally, and he launches an attack, the blood from those attacks is strictly on the hands of Assange...Because that is a conflict in which will fight tooth & nail to defend South Korea...And again, Kim Jong does have nuclear weapons...They may be crude in design, but that doesn't mean they don't kill.
Then there are the communiques amongst our friends...How can they trust in us that what we say, will be kept confidential? How can we effectively engage them diplomatically if they feel that there is a hidden motive or if we called a leader a name.
In essance, there has been absolutely nothing gained in the "pursuit of truth", however there has been alot lost, in not only face, but in lives lost on the battlefield & of those that trusted us to keep their names black.
And now for Assange to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize is absolutely rediculous, especially considering how many lives he has personally cost and the possible prolonging of the conflicts in the Middle East, but propping up enemy propaganda for new recruits.
Having a job and being stable is a small fraction of which it takes to be in a relationship...If you aren't there to share yourself with that person and to share your love, then it doesn't matter how much love you have to give.
After a quick review of 2 of the links....I think it's a good bill...It increases the number of inspections, gives the FDA a little more power in recalls, I really don't see what the problem is to be honest...
Funny thing Stress, I thought of you when I saw it passed...To be quite honest, I'm not overly familiar with the bill so I really can't comment one way or the other....What is the basic gist of the bill?
Look at him running like a goddamn golden retriever in hot pursuit of an orange treat. In this case, however, he is running away from Jeremiah Wright, who is giving a damaging press conference at the opposite end of the gymnasium. Run from your pastor, Barry!
Again that goes to intent...There is no malicious intent in that video in the least and it is obviously something that the Asian League (I believe that's what it was) took out of proportion.
Is that strictly a Youtube channel that they use to broadcast on? I've seen a few things with them and really like to listen to them.
RE: Put your Dating Experiences into a word...
in one word, I picked emotional...Can't quite explain why...but for some reason that one really stuck out the most pretaining to myself.
