There was also plenty of domestic terrorism in the 60s & 70's as well, however most of it from the 60's is due to antiwar movements hence why I chose to discount it.
Terrorisim happened on AMerican soil plenty through the 1990's and I believe some of the late 1980's, so in a sense it's relivant...I found the link btw.
On the scale of modern terrorism, in a sense, it does considering that terrorisim has been at the forfront for the past 40 years. You are selecting only 1/4 of a the data to look at.
In order to get a thorough study, you can't just look at a little time frame, you need to look at the spectrum as a whole. It would be like if i tried to gather the crime rate in a years time by simply cherry picking a single week.
We were discussing racisim and how racisim can be expressed and Rwanda came up of how it can be about not only skin color, but beliefs as well....at least I believe that's how it came up

This is where states rights & federal law clash....Personally, I think it should be a state by state issue...but on the other hand, it would make life so much easier for an across the board law where it's the same for everyone and be a felony......I'm more of an advocate for it being a felony that way it's the same rules & punishment for everyone...
