Not exactly true anymore. The Patriot Act authorizes the government to arrest people indefinitely without trial or lawyer in secret prisons & without due process of the law..All in the name of national security.
Let's see...We've done that all in our past already to regular Americans...We've proven that we are willing to put people into "Internment camps" (Japanese citizens during WWII), people are already dubbed "unpatriotic" if they don't have a flag lapel pin , and it was actually very popular for towns during the 60's to organize book burnings of authors thought to be considered "subversive"
Yep, no other president has dressed in a countries native clothes or spoke in another countries native tongue before God forbid we visit a country and respect their customs & traditions
Another thing I can't stand are people when faced with actual FACTS still feel the need to wallow in their pity party, or can't face it that they were wrong...Absolutely sad to see.
exactly...usually when it comes to cases of people like that , i just shrug it off and let them be right because it seems to come off as being way more important to them than it should
I don't mean to go off track wikked, so I will make this brief...One thing I absolutely cannot stand are people that feel they know it all. They feel as though they are a walking encyclopedia on all issues foreign & domestic, social & political, and all things in between. I understand some people have had extensive experiences in life, but to feel as though you know everything regardless of those experiences, just makes them look foolish. Again, I realize that we have different backgrounds as far as education & experience, but again, it's just foolish to feel the need to act as if you know everything about everything.
I don't think you really need a personal interest in a topic to be involved in it. It does help if you do because you tend to have more facts about the subject at hand...Then again if it is something that you have a personal interest in, then you probably are more passionate about it and are more prone to make a personal attack as part of your argument as well.
I personally comment on topics regardless if I have personal interest invested in it or not, because it may be something that grabs my eye and I'd like to express my view or opinion.
Sure it can...Just because you may quarrel with one another, doesn't mean you don't love one another any longer. I believer strongly that with the right person, love can be a permanent thing.
Not quite sure what you mean....Are you referring to your mailbox? If so, I feel if they don't answer within 24hours of them having read the email, then there isn't going to be a response.
I don't have an answer, because in a sense, it's something I can't relate to since I do not have children, but, to be honest, that is absolutely precious that your daughter is looking after you like that
Not quite sure if you mean you've been trolling or if you are saying that I have been...
If you are saying that I have been, I really don't quiet understand how you got that impression of myself, and how I may have come off that way, but if you'd like to talk about it, feel free to mail me or post in here about it. Definitely is something I'd like to get cleared up if possible.
