ah, see, personally I think we need someone that is willing to take some initiative when the welfare of Americans is at stake...Would rather see our forces fighting drug cartels in Mexico than in Iraq at least...They were and are a bit more dangerous than Iraq.
You misunderstand my post, and in a sense, I should have clarified...I personally support military action against the cartels...However...if the Tea Party doctrine is not to invade neighboring countries....By saying except Mexico...however, they are already making exceptions.
Really? Governor Rick Perry whom is a Tea Party supporter and also someone whom the Tea Party supports, endorsed the idea of using US troops to make incursions into Mexico to help fight the drug war

I think you handled things perfectly....You weren't vague, but you weren't harsh about it either. Sometimes people don't click together and in a sense that is a very underestimated factor...Again however, I think you did just fine.
Just because it's the #1 target of the United States, does not make it the #1 threat however, and that is what the discussion was in reference to in the first place.
