she was seriously jacked up...My 1SG wanted me to go home (his attitude is, if was an emergency to the soldier, it's an emergency to the unit)...but...I had a Warrant Officer that was over me at the time, so I had to go through my chain of command and when it got to him, he wouldn't sign off on it. My captain was going to send me , but he didn't want to break the integrity of the chain of command (which I understood)..
Was just someone flexing their rank and I happened to be the unlucky person who it was getting flexed towards....In all honesty the doctors weren't sure what her condition was going to be because she had severe head trauma..I just happened to catch someone on a bad day is all.
That being said, I don't blame the Army for it. I had a mission critical job and we were short on people, and regardless of what is going on in a soldiers life, mission comes first, that's just a fact of life and honestly that's the way it should be. I hold more of a grudge against the individual however, because in a sense, him & I never had a good working relationship and it just happened to impeed on me having to have gone home at the time.
Well the way I look at holidays such as thanksgiving is, it's a holiday anyone really can celebrate, because in a sense, we all have something to be thankful about
No offense dude, but Rangers are not all that. Sure they are a step up from the regular infantry, but they are not considered "elite"....Don't get me wrong, Rangers are badass, but again, they are far from the tip of the spear.
What atheist hate is being bible thumped. In general, we do not have a problem with those that choose to be a part of organized religion. It's when the bible thumpers come around and try to convert that we take issue with. It gets annoying. It's vice versa as well, there are annoying atheists that try and force their lack of belief on those that do believe and insult them.
Either way it's annoying...In essance, learn to live with one another regardless of their beliefs or lack of. Makes life a little less annoying all around.
Ray, can you just do us all a favor and write a book about it all , that way we don't have to continually read the crap over the forums? You invade other peoples threads with your theories, so it's not like we can even see them coming alot of times.
Don't get me wrong, they do make me giggle every now & then, but for the most part, and I'm sure I speak for many others, they are annoying...again, especially when you invade other peoples topics with them.
At least if you read a book, the wackos that buy into this stuff can buy the book and the rest of us are not subjected to it.
Thankyou, and welcome to the site...Hope you find everything you're looking for & more. Feel free to join us in the forums because we'd all like to hear from you. Good luck finding that special someone ...Who knows, you may just make a few friends in the meantime.
That is the key right there Desert...I agree, nothing wrong in the least, but when it becomes soley about "me, myself & I" , that's when it's just a brag topic.
I don't think people are realizing that this is a secret brag topic where the OP brags about what car he has in an effort to impress the ladies....That being said,I don't think the OP realizes, there are better ways to make a brag topic, without looking like a total moron.
I think if it was that easy, I'd be getting those refundable tickets, that way I could go through security, leave, get my ticket refunded, buy another ticket, go back through security (wash rinse & repeat)
Although I agree 100% with your post, I think in a sense, whether we realize it or not at times, we are all guilty of not following one of these...However I think as long as we try and keep it at a very minimum, it would cut down very much of the bickering that does occur.
RE: Is a 3000 euro fine correct for going 290kph in a 100kph zone??
