CFM---clinical fetus murder......

Alabama and Georgia with their new bans on this deplorable practice are in the deep South. And that was the deranged frantic initial spin of the ueber alt left on this brilliant new political strategy. But wait, Ohio and now Missouri are on board, as well. With others to follow. But one such state would be enough to trigger legal challenges, leading ultimately wither, dear CS friends? That's right, to the SCOTUS, now slanting much more right than when Roe v. Wade came to be some four decades ago. The latest panicy mantra offers phrases like "settled law", a sure sign of their gettting low on argument ammunition. I support CFM, in much more restricted clinical and family circumstances than under Roe, which originally allowed the proceedure up until 20 weeks of gesation, close to the extra uterine viability of the growing, feeling little humans. But we know of the recent beastial legistration in New York. Allow term birth, then snuff out the wiggling, crying, breathing little buggers, if Mom so desires. We also hear that this is the only government action to adversely cut the rights to autonomy and health of a whole gender. Au contraire, peebles. The combat roles in the military are still almost exclusively borne by males, and over most of the history of the world, conscription was an enormous threat to a fellow's health and autonomy. Do as we say, not as we do. CFM is an importand, helpful, and rarely life saving medical proceedure and shoulsd be allowed after rigorous vetting. Sloth with regard to responsible effective contraception doesn't qualify. The near certain SCOTUS review of this issue may not do away with Roe, but perhaps it will take it back a few notches. Get out of my womb, my foot. Women have exclusive rights to prohibit all such gynocological proceedure. But to be a woman is to be able to carry a developing baby. Vastly different from say endometriosis or cervical cancer. Biology is destiny, ladies, deal with it. Privledge and perogative, both.

So called conversion therapy banning...Friendly public health message.....

no charge... Our US Centers for Communicable Disease Prevention has interesting data on practicing male homosexuals. Life expectancy, all causes, is reduced by about a decade compared to the averages for those with more normal s*xual practice choices. Not merely the usual suspects (viral hepatitis types, HIV, STD's, etc.), but some other less commonly suspect causes of mortality. Most striking is a thousands percent higher rate of often terminal an*l carcinoma. These data, while our ueber lib state legislature has just joined a dozen other states in banning professionals from addressing any aspects of a child's choices of sexuality. Not merely counsellors, but everyone from Pastors to audiologists. Sure, there is little evidence that such therapies will reverse s*xual choices. But in younger years, identities vary, and I wish I had a shekel for each time a kid wanted to chat with me about these importand topics. We will all now be in the stockade if we think such unbiased talk might help a kid sort things out. Not to force them to change, but merely to listen and provide info. And process thoughts. fears and feelings, as with any other important clinical encounter. Terminal political correctness. Many say, well, why then are the medical societies for the bans? The same medical groups who would have yanked someone's license if they were against lobotomies. Tons of other such examples.

Sunscreens - are they safe ????

They are applied to the skin. But it turns out that they don't stay there.
While the largest organ we have, skin is composed of layers of a semipermeable membrane.
So, instead, what we put on the skin can be absorbed by the body and even get into the bloodstream.
Since they are regulated as a cosmetic, toxicology tests on the effects of the body are limited. Thus, we really don't know if they might be doing more harm than good.

LIFE HAS CHANGED, new update

Noticed the new comments and wanted to reply by saying thank you so much for your concern.

I have finished all radiation and chemotherapy and just got back my MRI reports and everything is looking good, now I will be soon starting my immunotherapy for 1 year.

As far as I feel now, I feel good. When dealing with brain cancer you don't walk away without damage to the brain. I do not live a life of depression it is a life of frustration, your whole life has changed. I have problems with some communications but I seem to be able to perform good. I still have to be careful with being dizzy and don't do things to tire myself out. Overall all so far I believe things are going well

Once again thank you for your concern, prayers, strong energy you send me. Bless you

Bonebridge !

No, this is not about the bridge connecting two people during sex. laugh

Instead, it is about a new procedure to help those with hearing challenges.
The first person in New Jersey recently got one with instant success.
It will likely help a lot of people in years to come.

I remember a gentleman, who used to be on here, and another site, who had deafness.
I hope someone will forward this information to him and to others who may be helped
with their hearing challenges.

Eat first, then exercise _or_ exercise first then eat...

I'm sure there are dozens of websites posting facts about which one is correct... one way or another. As for me, I prefer the order of exercising first, eating second then relaxing (and possibly taking a nap) third.

Years ago I had a girlfriend who professed her knowledge of healthy living.
Okay... do your thing!

No, I just had a big meal and I don't want to 'walk if off'
Maybe exercise improves your digestion. For me it causes indigestion.
Exercise after a meal steals the energy my body uses to digest food.
I'll get back to you in 30 minutes or less.

Yeah, and I do have an example... a pack of lions chase down their prey, devour it and hang out swatting flies with their tails. It has always been thus...
They don't have internet to tell them otherwise.

Thanks for reading my blog!

We are getting older, with many of the changes.......

Just saw my neurologist and ophthalmologist. Tiny peripheral neuropathy on a right foot toe area and slight balance issues, for former, (demon alcohol) ---and age consistent refraction problems with beginning cataracts, for latter. Neither restricted my driving or other activities. If things don't progress much, I can't complaim. And other than daily multivites, baby aspirin and fish/flax oil---no medications. Allah 'u Akbar, no?
