Windy Sunday

Every second Sunday of the month is clean up day in this govt housing. Unfortunately last Sunday was snowing so that was cancelled and re-scheduled today. While I was sweeping the stairs, an old lady told me my effort was useless as the wind was strong. I just smiled. I've got a wind vane imbed in be so most of the time I just made one swish and all the dust and small garbage was gone. No sweat! Where did they go? They better asked the wind!grin

On profile pic

Last sunday, Jan 26, I attended an international fest in the adjoining town. Got some pics including this profile pic. I just thought with a very young lady in tow would make my picture rating higher. You know my deepest secret? Looking at the WVML and photo ratings and who rated me well. I'm a very positive person. To those who rated me well CONSISTENTLY, and to those who just keep on viewing, my warm hugs. Spring is in the air!!heart wings bouquet

A cool but underrated Filipino-Chinese singer-song

Just look past the dubbing and you'll hear a simple but romantic tune.

The ohhhs and the ahhhs

Last Sunday, we went to an air show in Gifu. What was normally a 15 mins train ride took more than an hour and what a 10 min walk from the station to the camp gate took another 1 and a half hour. The festival was broadcast on tv, hence the surge of people not only Japanese. We had to be contented with what we can see from the station. The video is just taken from You Tube and its not even on that very day. Yet< I can't forget the ohhs and the ahhhs of people including me whenever an air acrobat is done. Iam awe strucked. Hurrah to the Kakamigahara JASDF!

Both rejoicing and dismayed

Today right after work, I went to the supermarket. That was around 7pm. On my way to the tofu section, I saw a young man wearing short-sleeved t-shirt pulling up the left side of his shirt. I wasn't alarmed then. But when I saw a rectangular bulge under his left arm, I became suspicious. He noticed I was staring at him and he went away still with that bulge. I had finished shopping and all I had to do was pay but I decided to stay near the cashier's to lay in wait for him. When he was about to pay, I followed him but there was no rectangular bulge anymore. Yes, I had aborted a crime. Good feeling isn't? But no, the man looks like a Filipino guy. In the place where I live, there are lots of Chinese, Vietnamese trainees, Peruvians, Brazilians and Filipinos. I'm not that good judge of ethnicity but each differs in the way they dress up casually. Right now I'm just dismayed! moping
