Iam addicted to the WVM list. I always open and take a look on the pictures and profile of people who viewed my profile. And lo and behold, I've found my soulmate, my destiny, my love. Oh, I feel so lucky I've got the urge to change my username to dreamcatcher 2. I, too want to catch a dream. Miss Mimi, hope you'll understand the feeling of somebody who has found somebody to love and to hold. And why did I know that he is the One? Just recently, there was an increase in people with student visas. I understand they are allowed to work for something like 28 hrs per week and hence enjoy tax free. Some come here with trainee visas. All of them young even as young as 18. Not sure if the people who contracted them are Japanese, otherwise they'll realize they're not helping the govt at all. Being tax free, they don't add up to the govt coffers. Aside from the fact that some if not all are juggling two jobs yet doesn't pay the proper tax perhaps. And even if they do, they are allowed to refund their contributions. Hence at the end, they've only contributed to their own pockets and pockets of their contractor. Life really sucks!
This morning our work ended at quarter to 5 and decided to walk again all the way to the train station. It was a cold and breezy morning. I decided to use the elevator in going down the entrance to the train station. I was about to use another elevator in going to the platform but there was a suspicious looking man who seem to be undecided to push the button so the door will open. Upon seeing me, he push the button and wave his other hand for me to go inside quickly. You know the kind of hand gesture when you want to say hurry up and get inside. I did not. I notice that he covered his right index finger with his shirt when he push the button. Not so sure but he didn't look mentally challenged and he was well dressed up. My intuition said no and I follow through. So many weird things have been happening to me of late. I just don't want to be famous and be headlined and become a statistic. I still believe Japan is a safe country but there are people who just can't tolerate the fact that people are different and being different needs no hammering down. If someone likes me, then by all means court me. I'm not that hard to please. If someone thought I hurt him, I really don't mean any harm. Peace to everyone!
I'm on my 2nd month in this factory. My work always start at 7pm and ends erratically. Sometimes it ends at 8am and worst at 9am. Today my work ended at 4:30am. since the service bus arrives at 5:30, I decided to walk all the way to the train station which is a good 45 mins. The weather is cool but the sun is already up promising a very warm day. On the road I saw something which I thought at first a kind of garbage. Coming closer and crossing the road to verify if it was a cat or a dog or some wild life. It was a small dog with both eyes still open. What a pity! I was teary eyed and still cursing whoever did it when some 20 meters or so a big truck sped up sending a small plastic bag of white trash flying. Not so sure if the garbage was from the truck or just left along the road as I was too overwhelmed by the sight of the dead poochie. Those white tissue were all crumpled and I wonder where was it used, from the nose above or below. Just hope the rest of my day won't be so depressing.
