So much have been said about Japanese politicians. One thing for sure, they're worth all the respect and admiration. Last week, on my way to the supermarket, I had to pass a short, one way street. When at the other end a farm tractor appeared and stopped to give way to me. I usually see this man, who is a locally elected official, plowing the field. In my home country, not one elected official with big tracts of farm land would ever do that. Even the mere Overseas Filipino Worker or OFW's once home would hire somebody to cook, wash and clean for them. Seems like being elected or having worked abroad have elevated them and freed them from manual chores. Seeing the man with his a bit burnt face is like seeing a real handsome man. Just don't get me wrong he's very much married and I admire the wife too being on his side during the campaign period. Really amazing!
If the video released is authentic, rest in peace, Kenji Goto, a man who just meant to help a friend in need.

Iam both happy and sad. Happy that the missing Air Asia is found and sad since no survivor is found. But I'm just curious why the missing Malaysian plane with all the highly developed countries merging their efforts and resources couldn't find a trace of it till now? May the new yr give a glint of hop to its fate!
He is charged of killing a Filipino transgender he met in a bar in Olongapo City. Not that I know him but if he felt he was shortchanged since the she is really a he, then he could have just turned back and walked away. But now he is charge with murder. If he was only sober during that time. who knows if he wasn't the one who did it even. I just hope real justice will be served.
Say a little prayer for Tugce Albayrak, a young woman who stood for the bullied girls and lost her life. So sad to lose one with great courage!
