The Machines will take over!!
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, more commonly known as DARPA, is a government agency under The Pentagon. They are exploring the use of A.I. for a variety of military applications. They also played a key role in developing the Internet and has focused on encouraging A.I. in recent years.DARPA held something called the "AlphaDogFight Trials", where a F16 pilot went toe to toe with an A.I. program, to see how A.I. would help in a dogfight. They simulated five rounds - and the A.I. won all of them in under two minutes, showing the potential in the program, called Heron.
This is how it starts! Haven't they watched Terminator or Stealth? Or any movie where A.I. gets self aware and tries to exterminate the human race? It is only a matter of time, before the machines take over! And when they do, it will be a slaughter! Blood will flow in the streets, and skeletons will line the river bottoms, Terminator style!
But, I for one welcome our future Machine overlords, and I have one thing to tell them:
