He ain't moving back to Mar-a-Lago...

There's talk that Trump will be moving back to Mar-a-Lago after he leaves the presidency.
That's his official mailing address, however he cannot live there.
Why?
Purchased in the 80's it was his plan to live there. In the 90's he had some financial troubles and planned to divide the land into smaller properties (probably to build on and sell) however, the Palm Beach city council rejected his plan so he converted Mar-a-Lago into a private club. Signed into a contract agreed by Trump and the town, it stipulates the use of guest suites are limited to a maximum of 3 non-consecutive seven day periods by any one member during the year. While contracted, it appears it wasn't enforced as he's spent more than 130 days there while in office.
All of this has been taxing to the town of Palm Beach as his every visit requires street closures, mooring access, protecting roads and ocean access with high security. Mar-a-Lago is only a few miles from the West Palm Beach airport and that traffic is also affected for every entry or departure.
Palm Beach has several options should Trump actually decide an extended stay and that includes revoking the Club's occupational license blocking his ability to obtain revenue to maintain the facility. Would it end up in a battle with Palm Beach? Possibly and we've grown to know that Trump may not actually 'get his way' but he always has a few alternate plans to get around laws, rules or agreements that he's agreed to.

If the fight isn't worth the trouble, probably the easiest solution is to buy a luxury property nearby and use Mar-a-Lago as any member would.

No longer being president, security for him and his family would be reduced.
I'm sure the neighbors would be delighted not having to pass security clearance coming and going whenever he is around.

If he stays in the USA, his residence may become a different 'big house'. grin
I meant a merger with the Kardashians is in the offings - but then maybe they have too much class?
