A good Christian...
I avoid topics of religion, but current blog about UFO and religious groups had me thinking. Also, a comment to my recent blog mentioned Christians, so I thought I'd "ask around" if any people knew a lot about Christianity and what Christians do... or for that matter, what Christians don't do.I'm working on a list, in case I come across a Christian or someone who has studied Christianity and can offer advice.
Smoking, is it Christian to smoke? What about gambling? Is it Christian to gamble?
Illegal drugs... is it Christian to take illegal drugs or to buy or sell them?
Is it okay for Christian man to rape a woman? Is it okay for a Christian man to use prostitutes? Do good Christians partake in 3-somes, kinkysex or torture?
Do Christians steal from others?
Are Catholics, Baptists, Protestants all Christians or do they differ?
Can gays, lesbians, transgenders be Christians?
Would someone who is known for paying prostitutes be a good Christian?
Do Christians accept people who are not Christian?
That should be enough to get started, I'm sure I'll be back when I think of other things.
I've got one more... In closing if it's said gluttony is a sin, could grossly obese people be good Christians?

Maybe some form of certification or level of achievement involved.
Boy scouts have badges for all the activities they are certified in. CPR classes so when you try to revive a person who passed out and not breathing, you know what to do.
If I want to scuba dive, I must take classes and be tested. The same with skydiving. Classes to certify before I jump.
Are political Christians equal? I've read only about conservative Christians. Can liberals be Christian and are they considered equal to conservative Christians?

I don't doubt there are moderate Christians out there not unlike Muslims or any other religious institutions...but the ones that spew that a purple teletubby is evil because it is gay...leaves me to believe that some Christians should be committed to a mental health centre...or at least evaluated...

Years ago I want a few rounds with member dongg who was part of the conservative effort on another blog site and here with the same thought pattern. I think he left because he wasn't getting any love from the other members.
Probably a great guy in real life.

shitabout me in their blogs. It's okay... that doesn't shake me.Regarding politics on CS, I do find it interesting of the 'hive mind' Conservatives have. There is nothing happening in the real world that will change your political orientation, I don't expect it will change here.
I blogged about loyalty and how the Trump supporters feel strongly that nothing can touch him. Nothing. He can do no wrong in their eyes. Trump has been crying fake news, rigged election and witch hunt for years. Knowing there would be mail-in ballot counting for days, he was claiming he won the election before nightfall.
Unlike you, I really don't care about Joe, Hunter, Ukraine and lots of other things.
Reference the Star Trek episode about the Borg. They all share the same information. If one believes a lie, they all believe it to be true... sharing the same thought.

The topic of this blog is A good Christian. 'Biden' is really off topic and my suggestion is you should do your own blog about him, his son and democrats in general.
Political blogs on CS often get lots of activity.
