Bob Barker R.I.P.

The long time Price Is Right host Bob Barker has died at he age of 99. His TV game-show career spans more than 50 years!
Born on December 12, 1923, Bob was a few months away from celebrating his 100th birthday.

You were great Bob.

I remember watching Truth or Consequences with my grandparents...

He was an advocate for animals...and a good soul....

My mother-in-law loved watching The Price is Right...She would play along and get so excited, you would think she had won the prize...

I don't think he was so great! he owned the whole company that delivers extra food to prisoners for a very good price...my son was incarcerated and I had to pay way over a hundred each time for extra things as chips, salami, sweets, coffee. he made money hand over fist..so, a great person cuz he was on tv? Idk

I will miss him. When I was in HS I used to sometimes play hooky and go to the Ed Sullivan Theater and back then they would hustle people off the street to be in the audience of whatever show they had on. Johnny Olson would sometimes hand out money to different people in the audience. I got paid several times. It was as good a way to play hooky as any other. Sigh eventually my parents figured it out and things got more regulated.
