Moonquakes...

That's a topic I haven't discussed before. Consider the extreme hot and cold temperature range on the moon. -208F ( -133C) in darkness to 250F (121C) in direct sunlight.
I'm not sure how they got the darkness reading as we haven't sent any lunar landers there, but they've got the facts.
We've setup seismic measuring equipment near the Apollo 17 lander module in the 70's that detects activity.
Is it important to know what happens on the surface on the moon? To scientists who make a living on doing 'out of this world' research it is.
I would think the moon is a pretty quiet place. No hurricanes, strip mining, fracking, nuclear missile testing and things that happen on earth...

Maybe one or two things to mention. The Russians attempted their own lunar landing that ended up in a devastating crash. Yeah, the country who invaded Ukraine has the money and resources to explore the moon. That's got to be a huge source of quake, possibly changing statistics in the Farmer's Almanac update later this year. The other thing is an alien base setup on the dark side of the moon. So, maybe there is a lot of excavation and road work happening behind the scenes.

Thoughts are running deep on the subject.

Actually several countries have both orbited the moon and even landed probes there. China recently had one land on the dark side, then fly back up to the mother ship and return to Earth solely under AI control.

<China is less worried about potential downside of AI than the West is, and is therefore further along in their AI stuff than the US is.>

Also any probe orbiting the moon can take a temperature reading using IR. Russia's recently crashe d probe was their first attempt at anything Lunar in 27 years. Several other projects were cannibalized to make that failed attempt. Putin had large hopes of a succesful lunar probe landing, but someone did something wrong and the orbit chosen was a very unsable one as it did not crash anywhere near the intended landing site. Only a few days later India landed a probe near the intended landing place of the Russian probe and is conducting a mission od it's own.

The confirmation of both substantially more Helium3 than is found on Earth and the confirmation of large amounts of water ice existing on the moon pretty much guarantee there will be way more lunar exploration, and some mining colonies and refineries too. The crashed Russian probe was supposed to allegedly explore the feasibility of using AI bots to construct temporary housing for future Cosmonaut moon workers uaing raw materials (water, silica, etc. found on the moon to make a form of concrete. Previous experiments have determined concrete will cure in such conditions.
How does the earth exist in orbit. The moon. It pulls us straight and protects us from debris. Wouldnt it be lovely if the greed of humans messes the moon up and destroys it. Bye bye earth.doh
Ever hear of Immanuel Velikovsky?
His stuff is worth the read and he laid out the materials now being used for the 12,000 year cataclysm stories.
No one gives him any credit though.
And just get the books not the Wiki biased article.

China moon base by 2025.
What more needs to be said.
They have been doing quantum entanglement communication for about five years now and have their own space station.
I'm sure the Russians are ready to ditch the ISS.
BRICS+ have already destroyed the western economies with their basket of trade currency, now oil cuts.
Next the multi trillions of dollars in space.

Do relations of Trump or Biden live on the moon? Or do they prefer Uranus? laugh
Who cares what you have to say?
I don't even care what I have to say.
Every day offers a new challenge to the world and most people will never notice until it bites them in the a**.
Like passively observing a book burning instead of stopping it.

Witch is problematic due to gamma rays, x rays, meteor showers & those pesky temp variations you referenced.
I have yet to see any of the foreign satellites or rovers film the US landing site.
One would think that would make world news.
