Luck

The way my luck is going at the moment I could scream.
So yes the insurance has started paying for all the storm damage, hopefully I'm picking up my car tomorrow after being sandwiched In a queue on a main road, only taken a month to repair. One of my cats has started to recover only 2 weeks hopefully he'll carry on. Yesterday received a letter from the tax office saying I've to pay my tax in two countries, told them this morning in their dreams and for the 5th time they've copied the papers saying I've already paid it. Then I've found out I've won a bottle of champagne I HATE champagne. Give me a break.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Hi emmy,

I know the feelinggrin

Covid then a cold.Hospital 2 days in May. Bad fall due to Council neglect in June. Continued pain then surgery 6th. December and now in a sling 24/7 so bah humbug to Christmas.

Good news is my 16 year old rescue cat is still going strongcheering
Sorry your going through all that, maybe next year will be better for us. I did a 10 day trip to the uk and was surprised how bad the roads and pavements were. My cat is 16 so it is worrying for our babies, I'm back to the vets tomorrow looking at him it looks like it'll be weekly checks for a while.
I gave the champagne to my friend as I know she likes it and as a bonus she gave me a bottle of my favourite wine so a win win all round for that.
Not sure but I think in a roundabout way you're counting your blessings, am I right?

I mean on the one hand oh HELL you had storm damage, your car was wrecked (ouch, by the way, hope you're ok, no whiplash issues) your cat is sick and you're in a tax squeeze, sounds terrifying

On the other - Pollyanna says the insurance is paying, your car is repaired, and you can afford vet bills because you have enough money for 2 countries to be drooling with anticipation and fighting for their share.

#Firstworldproblems. Especially the champagne rolling on the floor laughing

handshake Hang in there, kid. My cat made it to 20. Fingers crossed

Yes Suzie I'm trying to count my blessings, I'm very very trying rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
The trees down, I was planning on putting in a wildlife pond roughly in that area, now I have the hole so not a lot of digging.
The car, did have a little dink on it, my fault, so that is getting sorted when they stick a new front end on it, the new rear end and sides, well I suppose they will stay rust free longer.
The house hmmm I'm still thinking on that one, but it did mean my freezers got a good clear out rolling on the floor laughing
My cat, well he just hates me now, medication 4 times a dayhelp
The tax office, they've now learnt some English, but I think its sorted, well I thought it was last September. We all know what thought thought rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
