Today
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.Well, unless you read this tomorrow.
So, what did I do with this beginning of the rest of my life ?
Fair question.
Well, I played a softball double header starting at 8:15 am this morning. You read that right. 8:15 in the friggin' morning
on a Sunday. Who the heck decided on that time ?
The two 'friends' who roped me into playing on this team
have some nerve.
What makes it worse, is that it is in an 18 year old and older league. I am playing left field on a team of youngsters against other teams of youngsters.
I am WAY over age 18.
While they do call me Jim, they should probably call me "pops"
Indeed, if I didn't wear condoms, some of them probably would
be my sons. Most of them are 1/2 my age.
After I drove home, I planted snow peas, scallions, carrots,
radishes & red leaf lettuce in my garden. I also planted beefsteak tomatoes, large cherry tomatoes, parsley, red & yellow peppers and cucumbers. But, those were planted in pots indoors until it gets warmer outside. My chives & scallions are already up & ready from last year.
At 1:00 I decided to watch a baseball game on TV and answer e-mails. After I finished my e-mails, I edited photos that I took down in Florida. I got some great shots of alligators, osprey, herons, etc..
Right now, I am writing this blog (obviously) and making a large wok of stir fry vegetables.
OK, you're caught up with my life. Man, are you nosey !
Oh, one other thing. Yesterday, I found a huge bald eagle nest and I believe they have eggs. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone.
I took some photos of the female sitting on the eggs (well, only her head is actually above the nest rim) and the male soaring up above.
OK, I'm done. It's your turn. What are you up to ?

Today its the first day of the week for me, its busy time again..
for the single is good on the week not on week end, pretty boring..just rock on..cést la vie..
Last year, I played on 5 teams (4 softball & 1 baseball).
In hindsight it was too much.
