jealousy, misunderstandings... blogs
Ok I know i've been pre-occupied a bit as of late.. But that doesn't mean I didn't notice whats been going on around here.Today, I guess its time for me to speak up once again.
Not so long ago, many bloggers have left this site.. some by free will others were made to leave by Cs. Whatever the reasons were are of no importance at this moment in time. but, before that day had come we know their were heavy fights going on around here. I also remember how many of you have asked, even begged, or demanded peace would return on these pages that we all love.
Peace has been restored by Cs officials. And I for one thank them for that. Ever since that day, we were able to return to our normal way of blogging. Some created heartwarming stories, others shared poems, relegious, or scientific blogs. Some were light hearted, other plain stupid.. but we had some very funny ones as well. Some were popular, others were not. New members have joined and started sharing their stories with all of us.
These pages have been a nice place once again. I wish we could keep it that way. Don't let jealousy or misunderstandings lead us to create blogs that are only their to place sneaky remarks at others. Follow your own advice that all of you have given me at one moment in time.. Ignore the ones you don't like and focus on the ones you do like. Feel free to debate, or to express your opinion about all topics that are placed here. But try not to insult another blogger on a personal level.
Let us all do what we claim to be here for.. let us enjoy ourselves. I do hope and believe we are all here to have fun and that nobody here considers having fights or arguements is a way to entertain themselves.
Don't forget, we are all unique, with our own qualities and flaws. We come from different backgrounds, different cultures... But that doesn't mean the one is better then the other. Let us respect eachother and learn from eachother. Don't let us be put down because someone else has a moment of glory.. Let us be motivated to become better ourselves because of that. Better by improving our own skills, not by bringing someone else down.

But I don't care about those numbers.. I just wanted to spread my message and hope people will get something out of it.
any arguments or confrontational blogs / threads , i just avoid them like the plague !!
i'd much rather participate in those which are funny , educational , romantic , or just simply thought provoking
Life is too short ,
and i'm not interested in any negativity --there's enough of that already in this world -
better here on blogs to be kind to one another , respect others point of view , learn from each other ,--and most of all bring some smiles and laughs to others all around the world
The amount of views or the amount of comments a certain blog gets has nothing to do with the quality of a blog.
Good Blog and I for one agree that we are all pretty much getting along and that's good.
Anyway .. I'm off to play some billiards and darts with some friends.. For some reason they enjoy losing against me.

Why does it make a difference?
you're right, it's weird. before, i noticed that numbers of blog views was at max 15 times numbers of comments. but lately it's extreme, your case for instance. 28 comments and 4239 views (more than 150 times). so i think something is wrong.
That I hope do not spark an outcry……
No doubt others beside me read many of the blogs that are posted, and then decide if we wish to leave comments or not. Some deal directly with the blog’s topic, others are…..well…. they seem a bit cryptic?
Then there are the blogs that appear to be cryptic in nature themselves? Some even being a takeoff of other blogs….
I understand that we are different and that different subjects appeal to some and not others, and that it is often said, if you don’t like a person, “Don’t read their blogs”, but some of us (myself included) continually do this.
Is this because we are afraid someone will say something about us or are we storing it away in the memory bank to use against that person at a later date.
I know we can never have total peace and understanding here, due to many factors…. trolls, false accounts/profiles, dislike of some other members and so forth, The worse sort are the “real” people that are 2 faced in their actions and words.

I think a lot of members that blog (not sure if majority or minority) are here to really seek out a life partner, they seem to be here due to the lives that they lead, like going down to the local club and meeting up with some friends to chat and or gossip or share in their lives. Whatever the reason we should not judge them for being here.
It is their comments that they leave behind we judge, then what, ostracise them for being who they are rather than what they have said?

Angelpeppers, I have seen you around.. however I don't think we really greeted eachother before. Everytime someone opens a blog it will add another view.. So to increase that number of views of a blog they would just need to open their own blog all the time. Some actually care about those numbers. I rather have a good conversation with whoever that comments.
Boban, It has been so since the beginning of mankind, wars are fought over and over again. They'll never learn. Bt their is no need to rush into things. A little respect from all sides could make quite a difference.

Glatlol, I have no idea why some would find things like that important. Whenever I write something, I hope it has a meaning. If only 1 person find it somewhat interesting besides me.. I have suceeded at my task.

african.. I am who I am.. I have my heart on my toungue as they say where I live. I am a peaceful man, but I will stand up for what I believe in if needed. And right now I felt I had to speak my opinion. Its a quality about myself that I love and hate at the same time. Being honnest isn't Always a good quality, I know that sometimes I hurt people with my honnesty. And in those cases it would be better maybe if i could keep quiet for ones.
