Try to recognize first this at received messages.
This kind of people do not make any effort.
next is an other level, they write something more, but also nothing which should refer to some particular of your profile.
"i like your profile" is not enough...should be some more ..like "I like your profile because" and reference to the contain of your profile... but what is just in your profile.

Well I have made some friends here and one of them is faceless but I respect him so much. He is polite, he sent me pictures, and he is respected in blogs. Some people have their own reason to be faceless, I respect that.

How did I come up with that? That's how much I charge my student for online scriptwriting course :)
I understand what you're saying, it's just that the message does not show why he choose to chat with me, like other say it's like a random message he sent to just anyone. It's different when one, also faceless, man sent me message after I post a blogs he's interested in and share what he thought with me. Then some emails exchange and we became friends.
Double profile hmmm I hope that's not your reason to be faceless now
