Pray for peace
A CNN journalist heard about a local elderly man who had been goingto the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to pray,
twice a day, every day, for a many many years.
To check it out, she went to the Wailing Wall,
and there he was, using a cane, walking very slowly
up to that holy site.
She respectfully watched him pray, and after about 45 minutes,
he turned to leave, using a cane and moving very slowly.
So, she and her camera crew approached him for an interview.
"Pardon me Sir, I'm Rebecca from CNN. What's your name ?
"Morris Feinberg," he replied.
"Mr. Feinberg, how long have you been coming to the Wailing Wall to pray ?"
"For over 75 years."
"75 years! That's amazing sir ! What do you pray for ?"
"I pray for peace between the Christians, Jews and the Muslims."
"I pray for all the wars and all the hatred to finally stop."
"I pray for all our children to grow up safely,
as responsible adults, and to love their fellow man."
"And how do you feel Sir, after doing this for more than 75 years ?"
"Like I'm talking to a f**king brick wall.."

The cartoon statement of a wise man! Watterson!
It's so funny how many people read the cartoon, get a chuckle and don't understand the real story part of the cartoon. I also cite Garry Trudeau, the late great Walt kelly and POGO just to name a couple more intelligent men!
Thanks for this great blog!
