What a Christmas day.

Well it's been about 9 months since we had any real rain, a shower about a week ago had been our lot, until today uh oh 3.30 am it started & we got the backlog all at oncewow I got up this morning & found due to the thick cloud & rain their was no electricity, started the generator which promptly developed a fault so then had to change it for the spare getting very wet in the process, finally got the house up & running so went to check mail, no internet, well on & off, turns out someone in my network decided as we'd not seen rain in 9 months it would be a good idea to put their inside fairy lights on a tree outside, shorting out the entire network doh he's an electrician as well laugh At this point I would normally have gone back to bed to hibernate for the day but being Christmas day & due to be having lunch with my neighbours this wasn't an option sigh My neighbours, both profession chefs in a previous existence, laid on a fabulous lunch for 9 of us & 6 hours later I don't think I'll have to eat (or drink) again till new yeardancing I think my trousers must have shrunk in rain because they fitted this morning grin Hope you've had as great a day as I have wave
