Sometimes a relationship

just goes South, and years later you look back and think I never should have done this or that. Or, you think if only we hadn't (or had) done so and so. Maybe one of you was just stubborn. So stubborn about something dumb everything just crumbled. The more you think about it, the more you wish you could just get a second chance to do it right.
So in recognition of this I chose this song in which a second chance is being sought. :)

The faults of past relationships have haunted most people, however we forget that since that time we have matured and now see life differently.
We have to accept we where as we were all be it that we would have done things differently if we knew then what we know now.
So Mimi now you want to start again with him? :)
Oh mimi oh noooooooooooogrin grin oh oh ooo
It is no use going that road. Getting a second chance even with the knowledge you have now has no guarantee of working. Most couples who try again fail again. So don't waste too much time on thoughts like that.
Good day to you Sir.

There was a time looking back I tryed to hold on to the pasted
thinking if only one can change this or that,

It never worked I stop living and became the living dead for two years.

I think life is a movement that is happening all the time in us and around us.

We can not stop or hold back this movement.peace peace
Hi Ken. Nice to see you here with your own blog.hug

I agree with Solo here. The past is the past and we cannot live for the rest of our life with regrets, thinking of what we SHOULD OR SHOULDN´T HAVE DONE!scold - it could have been better, or could have been worse!
dunno

The past holds you down and stop you from moving on and advancing in your life.
One should only think about the past as something positive which has taught us great lessons and has helped us to be where we are NOW.

One of my favourites:
"Remember to stay in the moment,
Yesterday is only today´s memory,
Tomorrow just today´s dream.
The moment is NOW.professor

Have a nice day.wave teddybear
Hi Ken
There is nothing as sad as a good relationship gone wrong with the knowing that you could have prevented it.sigh
hug wave
Could you have really Cat? How do you know?dunno

"Mistakes" are only "lessons" to be learned and are all part of our growth and one should be grateful for those life challenges.wave
Hi Ken, wave can't say this is the case for me.

I have always done everything to make a relationship work as long as I was in it and have never walked out easily. So every time I walked, it was 100% over for me and I have no desire to ever go back.
Ken, interesting blog! wow cool moping
Since my singing sounds like a frog being stepped on, I am so envious of that baritone voice. :(
Ken, now I have to go out, find a frog, step on it. All these so that I can find out how does a stepped on frog sounds like!! grin
Mimi - groaaaak groaaak croak erpt
My thought. As long as the number of partners who wish to start again is ONE, it IS a waste of time. However, when the number of partners who wish a do-over is TWO (i.e., 100% of the team), success is remotely possible. The issue however is either usually it is just the one, or other events (such as the Death Warrant flashed at the end of the scene, or a pregnancy with a third party, etc.) have acquired their own momentum and absolutely nothing either one does will ever accomplish a successful restart.
Hmm..
Most of the time, when we decided to end our relationship for good, I for one did that without regret. I didn't have a wish to have a second chance to fix it. cowboy

Sorry Ken, I am too resurrecting an old blog. And I choose yours. grin
GOOD I like seeing good blogs resurrected, me!

I've wished things could have happened differently, sure, in one or two relationships. And then I've realized they worked out exactly the way they should.

They do tend to. dunno
On the subject of begging for a 2nd chance, nothing says it better than this song from this NYC Doo Wop group recorded in 1957. The raw piano on this record perfectly fits the vocals.

Let's fall in love
Like the birds and the bees,
Come to me,darling,
Stay with me please

Can't we fall in love
Let's start it over again, over again.

Well,I do love you and I want you
How I need you for my own
Please say you want me,
And you need me,
For I,I love only you.you. you

I broke your heart
And made you cry
Please forgive me,
Don't say goodbye.
Can't we fall in love
And start it over again, over again.

Well,I do love you and I want you
How I need you for my own
Please say you want me
And you need me
For I, I love only you...you..you

I broke your heart, and made you cry
Please forgive me,
Don't say goodbye
Can't we fall in love
And start it over again...over again...
Let's fall in love.....
