Mad Hatter's Tea Party
The table was a large one, but the three were all crowded together at one corner of it: 'No room! No room!' they cried out when they saw Alice coming. 'There's plenty of room!' said Alice indignantly, and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table.'Have some wine,' the March Hare said in an encouraging tone.
Alice looked all round the table, but there was nothing on it but tea. 'I don't see any wine,' she remarked.
'There isn't any,' said the March Hare.
'Then it wasn't very civil of you to offer it,' said Alice angrily.
'It wasn't very civil of you to sit down without being invited,' said the March Hare.
'I didn't know it was your table,' said Alice; 'it's laid for a great many more than three.'
'Your hair wants cutting,' said the Hatter. He had been looking at Alice for some time with great curiosity, and this was his first speech.
'You should learn not to make personal remarks,' Alice said with some severity; 'it's very rude.'
I could go on, of course, but I was told CS is a world through the looking glass, and I found the above scene and yup it is.

One or two will listen to everything you say – and remember it
Most won’t even listen to the end of the sentence.
I was at a low point recently and did a misery blog, there were lots of friendly comments but one, just one, person, has asked how all the miseries resolved themselves. Cyber friends are lovely, but just soap bubbles.
Real world it is from now on.
Scones and cupcakes missing in real life, too, but I do have Christmas cake if you'd care to join us?
I am having a VERY odd Festering Season, celebrated Christmas a week or two before the day and about to celebrate it again today
Biff I wont ask any questions, wouldnt want you to say "Its very rude or not very civil"
So going to wish you a great time with your daughter, hope to always see you happy.
Mad Hatter's Tea Party...Interesting,Ludacris but Intelligent..
The Turkey lunch with your daughter would have been brilliant, ship left-overs my way please.
Oh..Alice did find the yellow brick road if that helps.
And wheww for a first time encounter and do so for the demand of having a hair cut, boy that lit her up, didn't it?
Anyways, yes, to your explanation, not all will hear the same remark as intended and more so are not apt to remember half of what was said. Maybe because all of us are all different and not always in tune with what is happening.
Nice story, though Elle. I felt like a first page of a very good novel.
On your real life, don't abandon this place, it is after all colorful because of you and all of us, I suppose. IMO.
I'm, er, a little embarrassed about this, not many leftovers but we haven't started on the pancakes yet, should be plenty left of those.
Did Alice meet Dorothy on the yellow brick road?
Lovely comes to mind elle.

Interesting blog. Oh gee, the whole world is through a looking glass, our eyes.
But anywho, it's all a wonderful life in many ways, if we just notice the positive moments in it.
You're a wonderful lady and I appreciate the joy you bring to the blogs.
Have a fun day.
