OK so this may seem like a silly question,

but Whats the skinny on Trumps Vice president ?

Who is he what is he high profile for and what is americas opinion on the guy.

and out of interest who was Kennedy's, did he do anything worth while.
and does the strength of the person holding that position have any bearing on the odds of assassination attempted or achieved .

I have done some research on Pense. There are some areas that he supports that I am against, and he has accomplished some things I like.
Trying to dissect him, I would say that he is for States Sovereignty.
In his two terms as Mayor of Indiana, he won overwhelmingly. So, I would say that the people of his state like him.
In my mind, is that not what this country is all about. At least what it stands for?
It is true that the Government of the United States is complicated, but I feel that the people of states should have the right to legislate as they feel right. That way, people can choose to live where they feel comfortable.
With out studying all of the legislation that he has won or lost, proposed or fought, I really can not make a positive or negative statement as to how I feel about him.
He sounds tough, maybe too right for my tastes. But I am sure that his presents in the White House will help to shake up the existing agenda.
We still have the Senate and Congress that if they do their job, should limit too much of radical agendas.
I think the question should be, "Who better should the choice have been"?
The Office... Ricky Gervais or Steve Corell?
Seri,
Said like the Femme fatale i expected you to be wink
Pat,
Ricky Corell of course, Steve Gervais is terrible laugh

Just kidding I like both for different reasons. dunno
Funny, my exact sentiments on the matter. As for Wilfred...
Cheavy Mike Pence served as Governor not Mayor of Indiana.
thank you CC
CC,
I take it from his facebook hes a Christian. laugh

Thanks for that wine
Seri,

tanks for your input,it make it clear, what kind of person you aredoh

Non,

a matter of fact is,that Trump is completely to controversial,( much bad buildup from the Media for sure too) and after his victory I have several times had in my mind, that he could be assassinated and before his victory speech,I followed very carefully when Pence gave his own speech, trying to figure out if he are able to take the burden if something happen and frankly,I'm not convinced.
Oops,

Sorry NON,

I thought the poster was Seri, lol. laugh

I meant my comment to be addressed to you. My apologies. cheers
Kennedy was controversial and assassinated......his Brother try to follow his footsteps and assassinated.

Reagan an outsider and an assassinate attempt.
The half full and almost empty glassroll eyes
Isn't it great that we're so different peace
I'm only behaving because it's your blog Nonhug
robrt787 ,

If I was you I would rather talk to seri too laugh

Some good points you made there by the way . handshake
@ cheavy,
Wow that was a great insight for me thanks, I think Im getting a feel for the way he is seen . thumbs up

Just out of curiosity.
Does a republican president always have a republican vice and

forgive the pun

Vice versa laugh for the conservatives
Hi Non, maybe this quote will aid your in your quest....."The calls from prominent Republicans were loud and clear: “Donald Trump should withdraw and Mike Pence should be our nominee effective immediately,” said John Thune, the GOP Senate’s third-highest-ranking leader, on Saturday. “Donald Trump should withdraw in favor of Governor Mike Pence,” tweeted Republican South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard. “I will be voting for Mike Pence for president,” said Ohio Republican Senator Rob Portman. New Hampshire’s Kelly Ayotte said the same."

Pence is well liked on both sides of the house........

We think alike, I've looked into this expecting someone will try to have Trump removed......
Seri ,
Virtual good behaviour is acceptable, but should we ever meet in life, You better be bad to me for real wink
Sands that's very interesting,
And points to what seems to be a very fundamental flaw in the system where the party and people win but party policy seems at a loss.
Am I somewhat right in my abstraction dunno .

Thanks for that twist on things sands cheers
How bad?grin
CC,
He sure seems to have added a little something to the pot conversing
Good luck Ssnds.

For me, Trump is the best this country has and it is official. He won. You don't like him or support his goals, you should at least cooperate and give him a chance. But that's your choice.
the man is not even in the white house . wait till he is in office a few months. if you don't like it, to bad he is the president the nation has spoken.
Thanks John. You summed it all for me.
LJ, this should be your mantra......

Trump has and will continue to back off on everything he spoke of to get elected. Already, he's backed off of Obamacare, building a fence instead of a wall.......and this will continue. What he will do is hit the height of his grandiosities and build fabulous airports and beautiful bridges and handsome roadways......but it will all be done in a pretentious manner that will bring him the accolades he so much requires. He will have no concern for the debt involved in accomplishing the aforementioned goals......
Sand, I do not consider that a very intelligent reply.
Every thing evolves. Some do to constant.
The issues that are ahead of us never come out as a simple fix.
As long as forward positive progress is being instilled, I consider a positive.
So, what "color" the wall is, is irrelevant. It is the outcome of the process that is of importance.
And that goes for all of the issues.
Your addressing every thing as though this is a dictatorship. That, it is not!
No you won't Linds. You are more important to us alive.
Cheavy, You didn't pay for intelligence so all you received was my opinion......
I understand Sands. I just want you to think. Your opinions are your own. I do not have a problem with that. I am just trying to broaden your scope.
thanks Cheavy.......Trump has brought my stock portfolio up over 150k since the election....one would think I would love the guy.......but, I learned a long time ago, money is not where it's at........have to run.......
Trump said that he would not take the wage of four hundred thou that the pres. gets but will take a dollar because it is the law to take something.
What Sands does not understand Linds, is that Pense is a Tea Party man.
I understand his frustration. This election was way more important to me that voting 3rd Party. Which, I have advocated in the past. Trump is such an outsider, that I felt compelled to place my vote where it counted.
California being a Blue state, I knew my vote did not stand a chance, however, on the popular count, it did!
And I stand behind my vote.
Wow,
So many comments.
I took a power nap and came back to a lively discussion, will read through all this info and try digest it over a coffee now, thanks so much for all the info.

The real question with LBJ is while he was unquestionably involved in the decision to whitewash and classify inconsistencies in the Warren Commision report, is was he involved in the plot to aassassinate JFK or did he only join the plot after the murder?
That's a nice angle Ken,
I never thought of it that way cheers
I believe Ken, LBJ was in it from the beginning.
Those would be nice papers to release. They were supposed to be by now any ways.
