Got a Scare - FB to the Rescue

The night before last Mom didn't answer the home phone, assumed one of the siblings took her to see Dad. Then yesterday morning again no answer to the phone. Went over, her car is there, house empty but bedroom is locked (she locks it at night when she is home and whenever she leaves the house) She didn't answer the cell either.

My mind starts to think she had a heart attack in her sleep. We start to rush to the facility Dad is in when I decided to ask the siblings on Facebook - does anyone have Mom? Baby sister answered, "I took Mom to see Dad" YAY Thank you. I'm on my way to see him too.

Not sure why my mind went to the darkest place first but it did. Thankfully since baby sister is 12 years younger, she is more addicted to FB. She does everything from her watch which is as strong a computer as any cell phone. I ask a question and get the answer within 60 seconds.

It is good when your darkest thoughts get turned around.

Unusual

I saw my second gator in the canal across the street from me this morning while walking Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. It was about 7 feet which is still a juvenile but big enough to munch on my dog in one bite. I followed it up the canal until we got to a bridge then the creep went under the bridge and didn't come out. I know animal control was called last time but not sure if they found it or even if this is the same one. I doubt it though.

On an unusual note my son texted me that he was so angry that he could Not look at or talk to his wife because she shaved her head bald while he was at work. I tried to calm him down, asked him to send me a picture but he said, "NO I can't even look at her and Mom you know the one thing I love about a girl is her hair" my heart felt bad on one hand for him but I hadn't heard her side yet. Who knows he may have made her mad and she did it out of spite, then I couldn't blame her.

This morning my daughter texts me to say how mad my son is at her and she sent me a picture. BALD, skin bald but I still love the heck out of her. She said she did it twice in China when she lived there. I asked if that was a Chinese thing and she said nope it is just her thing. She likes it easy and besides she is starting to get grey and doesn't want hair color because it is not healthy.

I'm not meddling in my sons family. Houston we have an unusual situation here. I'm not getting involved in how this marital dispute will play out but I hope they keep me informed. Until I wrote this blog I didn't realize how funny it is now. I have to say I give kudos to my daughter-in-law for being her own woman. Now she also has leverage for the future once her hair grows out.....she can threaten my son if she catches him eating fast food she will shave her head.

Our brilliant protector....and his promisses....

One by one, he's keeping them. China, jobs, economy, Korea, etc. Now he says he'll do something reasonable on guns in the wrong hands. Watch him. But his latest act is to begin reinforcing a law that has been part of immigration policy for decades, until partially reversed in 1999, mostly by dems. And by a few wussified others, so affraid of illogically being called racist. Now immigrants must not be on the dole too long, or it's back to the hell holes from whence they came. Just hope he would also reinstitute the effective Sponsor system. Our great President Trump. MARA. Make America reasonable again. Just watch the country hating---vote pandering moonbats piss and moan about it, and begin law suits. All go to the SCOTUS. Imagine that. Hardy har har har.

How Grandma, brought up and moulded grandkids

Whenever am with my kids, I could hear people say..."you are lucky to have your four kids " . Am supposed to be proud. But the truth, it's not me, that brought them up. Their grandma moulded them that they became good kids .angel

Are You @ Peace right now?

Spending my spare time here in CS land made me feel @home like family. We might at times or all the time argue because we are different from one another but in the end of the day I would
show up and be like....

Forgiveness must be a major part of family relationship, because we know more about those we love and they know about us and those buttons can be pushed sometimes too easily, taking our frustration or anger over situations in life or other circumstances out on those we love instead of dealing with the issues more productively and controlling our words and actions.

Our loved ones are a blessing in our lives and if we do say or do hurtful things we need to apologize and make every effort to avoid doing the same thing in the future. As an apology without change in behavior doesn’t mean much.

Colossians 3:13

" Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Our families are a blessing or meant to be in our lives, and as humans we often fail ourselves and others, but as long as we recognize and make amends, the one thing about family is most will readily forgive, because of the love and bond families are blessed with.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones, and may this verse provide you with support and encouragement during those stressful times.

This verse is a good one to remember during those times we are tempted to say hurtful things to those we love or to anyone.

Psalm 141:3

"Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips" (same as you type")

Thank you

For those who sent prayers for my son for his successful scholarship Examination. THANK YOU ALL
Though the result is not released yet.
Except math which since his young age, it's never been his favourite subject, other than that, he got no worries, though an exam is an exam, until the result be released that's the time I could say he made it. Again thank you guys...kiss ::teddybear:

school bus accident here in Dead Sea

Was just watching news of a school bus accident here in Dead Sea and many children died. The bad news is breaking my heart. My son called me and told me the bad news so I searched for the news online. Rescue efforts are ongoing I thought we only had slight rain this afternoon and I wasn't even aware that in some places were pouring, and it's our first rainy day. Expecting more rain tonight in an hour or so till morning so I'm leaving office a little early, hopefully no more flash floods and everyone is safe at home. Have a trip to Dead Sea this weekend with friends , I feel like cancelling it.

I know how painful this is for parents who lost their children/children in this accident and all over the world. I'm enjoying every moment I can spend with my son, those moments are precious. I love children, I wish we could do more to keep them safe and have a brighter future.

Just feeling down tonight...

A loo with a view...

Condo shopping was put on hold for a number of reasons. Heavy workload and my accountant meeting was postponed because she's been out with the flu.

Most of our shopping is in a very large retirement community with hundreds of units and what may be available this week could be gone next week. Our preference is to find an end unit because they often have more windows than inside units. Also it's important to have the bedrooms facing the east to avoid the excessive heat building up in the evening. That's significant and could be the difference in $100 a month for air conditioning expense.

All the floor plans are similar with some left hand and some right hand depending on the orientation to the side of the building you are on. We did find an end unit with more windows than the inside units but it was being rented until next year... for sale but conditional.

The thing that interested my wife was the bathroom has a window and the others don't. So now I have to add to my list of wants is a unit where the master bathroom has a window.

Yes, a loo with a view!
