Quite promising medical news for those with spinal cord injuries

This month it was published in Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, that results from a phase 2 trial were completed by Yale Medical School in combination with
Sapporo Medical University in Japan.

13 patients with physical problems from non-invasive spinal cord injury were selected for study.
They had bone marrow stem cells taken from each and put in culture.
Those cultured cells were then injected into the spinal cord from the same patient, from who they were taken from.

12 of the 13 patients showed improvement.
None of the patients had severe side effects.
Over 1/2 had improvement within weeks of injection with key functions that were injured, such as the ability to move limbs, or walk.

This gives hope in a field that has few successful treatments.

Walmart sells white slime.

Someone gave me a chub of Festive taco seasoned ground turkey. Hmmm...I don't trust ground turkey to start with. Decided to do some research on it. First found out who sells it. Checked reviews..rates a minus C. Read more. It is partly mechanically processed turkey. OK, check that out.
We have heard about pink slime. That is the blood and bits liquefied and added to foods. Government had a few things to say about that habit.
White slime is made about the same way. When the breast meat and dark meat is removed, a bony carcass is left. Think about when you devour that rotisserie chicken and what is left. But, theirs is raw. Now that carcass is ground up, pushed through a sieve that removes MOST bone bits. What is left is something that resembles paste. Bone bits must be smaller than 2mm. What is in that paste is ground up skin, cartilage, tendons, blood vesicles, bone marrow, blood and of course, bone bits. Watch your teeth people.
Reading about this ground frozen turkey is rich. Reviews say looks like dog food. Have to keep breaking it up cooking because it wants to make a hard mat. 2 cups of it ends up with a cup of water out of it. Part of the mix is real ground turkey to try to give it some taste and texture.
It is one thing to find mechanically separated meat in hot dogs cause we know what they are. But, to peddle this off as ground meat is an insult.
It is high in salt, saturated fat plus ammonia is used on the slime to kill bacteria. Guess it is more a danger to the processing workers than us. Still..
There is a problem among the poor to eat badly. They have diseases and at the least, obesity. Now the kicker.. This person got this ground turkey from a food pantry that gets stuff donated by companies and the government. He said he got a case of this, plus hot dogs and chicken meat balls in a huge bag. Afraid he cant use it all up fast enough.
To be polite, I took a chub of it. He thought he was being generous. Now what do I do with it?frustrated
So this is what our government feeds to the poor. And school kids too. White slime, salt, fat and additives. Nice to know how they care for our poor.mumbling scold

Do You Pay Attention To Your Body? You Should.

It started about six years ago. I was having pains in my hips and my lower back and arms. My doctor would give me a prescription for pain. Well that was not helping so I asked what is causing this? It was hard to move, it hurt to bend or twist. I finally was told its probably inflammation. When I got home I spent the rest of the day searching google to find relief. I was taking prescriptions that were not helping,it had been about three years. I found that taking a spice from India, turmeric is very good for inflammation. I found that a tablespoon is a proper dose. You need to take black pepper with the turmeric for best results. I do not believe that I can put that much in my omelet. So I use a teaspoon instead. Then for my evening meal I use a teaspoon again and this has worked well for me. I have slacked off the turmeric and the pain is back in my right arm, so I bought two pounds of turmeric at Amazon. I am going to get rid of it again. I do not waste money on the pills and capsules that are being sold. Also I now look to google if something does not feel right before going to the doctor. It has been an expensive lesson to learn. I hope this will be helpful information for other people.

Data on Allergic reactions to Covid 19 Vaccine.

Since the Misinformation is rife by the usual suspects, I thought some actual data from Doctors might be in order. Since this paper mentions the word "Anaphalaxis" Here is a definition from Wikipedia.

Heres the data

11 cases per million is 0.00011% chance. The misinformation peddlers are saying the disease is has only a 0.01% chance of death (actually approx 2.7%) and the high rate of reactions to the vaccine is a reason why you shouldn't take it.

In fact the rate of reaction is 1000 times less than even their lies about the fatality of COVID, and the rate of death is 0%. Its FAR safer than COVID-19 even by their twisted metrics.

You can read the rest of the paper by yourself. It's only 2 pages and an easy read.

Man injects himself with Magic Mushrooms...

News of the weird. A type of mushroom called 'Magic Mushroom' contains the psychedelic drug psilocybin which is meant to be eaten. Instead a man with bipolar disorder brewed mushroom tea and injects it into his bloodstream where the mushrooms grew causing his body to go into organ failure.
He's being treated with long-term use of antifunguals and antibiotics.

He researched how he could decrease his opioid use at home and read about the potential for psilocybin, the drug found in psychedelic mushrooms - also known as magic mushrooms - for treating symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Crowned...

I've probably been to 8 or 9 dentists in the last decade. My preference is someone with a small practice. One guy in his 60's was in business at least 30 of those years with 2 chairs. Him and the hygienist. I tried a few times and was unhappy with his work. Searching the insurance list of available dentists, I selected one in large office that appears to be part of a corporate franchise with several locations. 6 chairs and lots of people flying around the open corral. I tried a dental college and several chairs in one room appears to be normal.

Covid-19 comes around and I postponed cleaning a few times. I had a piece of filling and tooth chip off a molar months ago and needed to have that resolved before infection gets in and a root canal specialist would be added to my list. December and I need to use use insurance benefits this calendar year.

Earlier this month, I had the tooth prepped and the mold sent to the lab for a crown. Yesterday, I returned for the second part.

With all the previous dentists, they do a similar casting and then cover the tooth with a temporary -- I'll call it a temporary, but mostly it's a soft pliable material they form over the tooth like putty or bubble gum and in a few minutes it hardens. When the crown comes from the lab they have several tries of grinding and fitting before the final step of gluing it in place. Usually after it's in they test for 'bite' and have to grind down a few high spots. I used to think this was normal.

The dentist I'm using now did 2 crowns for me over a year ago and they went in perfectly. Yesterday was the same. The temporary was a copy of the crown so the fit and feel was like a normal tooth. The assistant tested the crown and it clicked into place. The dentist didn't need to grind or reshape anything.

This dentist is on a whole new level compared to the previous ones.. old or new.

She said, not to chew on that side for at least an hour and most likely there will be a little sensitivity for a few days. Yesterday, there was some throbbing and pain from cold drinks. Aspirin took care of that. Today it's barely noticeable. When I run my tongue over the new crown it feels like a normal tooth.

Bravo!

laugh

I have to laugh as I once had a dentist name Bravo.

world DNA data bank ???

was the virus created ,,so that there would be a world DNA data bank ,,
every person that has been tested for the virus in what ever way shape or form , has unwittingly provided their DNA ,,
and now with the vaccine the DNA data will increase across the world,
so any privacy you thought that you had is now in a data base,,
some will argue that this is a good thing , as it will no doubt solve a lot of crimes where they have DNA evidence ,, as no doubt this data base will be examined by police world wide to solve those crimes ,,
as there are nearly 8 billion people on the planet ,then no matter what the scientists may say ,there could be a possibility of two people having the same DNA ,,
as everyone on the planet has virtually 95 per cent of the same DNA make up ,then that leaves very little room for error ...
or maybe if you are vaccinated could you ask for the needle to take it away with you along with the swab that was used to sterilise your arm ,,,,just a thought ,,,
