My New Year - is here...2020...

It is now 31 December 2019...

My plans are:
HAPPINESS

Yours...?

We are all getting ready for the Christmas holidays...
At least my family and friends are...

Staying at home, avoiding the traffic, or going to some resort.
Food, Drinks, Swimming, Playing with the animals, and lots more.

Some will spend their Christmas Bonuses, very quickly...while some won't get...
While some will save as much as possible thinking forward to the coming year...
and what if that something goes wrong...

The Holidays:

Can't wait...!

I'm Mrs Scrooge

... and I like it.

All this Christmas circus, hypocrisy and consumerism.... makes me sick, lock my door and close the shutters.
.... and adding the nonsense called *waiting for the New Year.....

....... no, it's not me - crazy is the world.

When I feel like helping or giving presents, I don't wait for Christmas, or birthday, or whatever the numbers of the calendar.

The crowd festivities, never makes me happy.

CAN HOT CHILI PEPPERS REDUCE YOUR CHANCES OF VASCULAR DISEASE?*

"Researchers followed 23,000 people in Italy for eight years and found that those who ate chili peppers at least four times a week had a 40% lower risk of death from heart attack and a more than 50% lower risk of death from stroke. - 4 days ago"
More @

I heard this reported on radio news (Coast to Coast AM pointing plug) a couple days ago.

I'm LUVVIN' on the hot peppers very mad ... smitten
Four times a WEEK??
Hell! I prob'ly eat four servings of the stuff per MEAL - starting with breakfast.

Crystal® Louisiana Hot Sauce (pointing shameless plug) is the New Ketchup & great as salad dressing. drinking
Da Bomb - Beyond Insanity® (pointing ditto) Habañero Sauce is a special treat very happy

Anyway -
It was good hearing that SOMETHING out there that folks enjoy ain't gonna kill 'em & might do 'em good banana

I calculated it out ...
writing
Averaging out four servings/week & at the rate I eat 'em - I'm gonna live another 200 years.
Minimum!!
grin

*Intentionally phrased as a rhetorical question to fling The Rule down & dance on it dance

Another possible breakthrough in TD-HDS natural history...

... Andrew Yang. Author, entrepreneur, philanthropist. American born. Perhaps not quite ready for the big job, as demonstrably as is our Brilliant President Trump. Millennials love the guy. But at the debates between the half dozen or so proto losers, he, at 4-5% support, is attracting little debate attention from the mutually attacking, pandering, socialist crowd. But he blew them away with his suggestions for the party and other candidates. Why, he asked, waste so much time in the last three years, topped off by impeachment? Instead, why not focus on why the Donald had an EC huge mandate? Look at the states he won in for clues. Jobs, illegal immigration, NAFTA, shrinking purchasing power, cultural surprises against family values, etc. And add to this his efforts to keep promisses on fixing these issues, for the folks well aware of how they have been harmed by Democrat policies. I'd add, the evidence for increased Minority support for Mr. Trump. (Inner cities have become unlivable, and these folks are waking up.) Positing high tax solutions, honestly or otherwise, is frosting on the cake. Rather, he suggests, pleadingly, spend time offering imaginative, culturally acceptable real solutions. I wonder if any of the others got any of it. But for our purposes, at the prestigious VIERK Institute for the study of obsessive/compulsive behavioral syndromes, another potential breakthrough. We've known for years that a tiny proportion of self inflicted HIV-AIDS exposed individuals, seem not to carry a trace of the virus. Immunological mechanisms thereby lead to better treatments. Now, Mr. Yang is a highly exposed person, daily in intimate contact with severe victims of Trump Derangement-Hillary Deficit Syndromes. Yet his actions and words show relative immunity. Cryptic republican, American loving, patriotic, T and B white cells, perhaps. We're on it.

All I want for Cfwiffmas...

I was going to do a blog about Mar-a-Lago as the president will be staying there between Christmas and New Years. This puts the kibosh on my plans to take a few days off and enjoy flying at the local radio control model airfield as it's in the restricted zone less than 25 miles from Mar-a-Lago!
There is another field in Fort Lauderdale 30 miles away that doesn't have flight restrictions, so I'll probably do some flight practice there.
Hopefully all who celebrate Christmas will enjoy the day and if you are missing your two front teeth, I suggest you Google a good dentist for restoration. As they say "Be truthful to your teeth, if not they will be false to you!"

The demise of print media....and new syndromes...

...went to a public talk tonight, by two "journalists" who have variously tried to feed their families via their craft, with mixed success, VERY mixed. They opined that before IT, papers simply starved or prospered, along with the economy. Then came adverts on line, along with sales, and the verdict was in, by way of no more print adverts, formerly their bread and butter. Various business model innovations helped somewhat, but don't send your kids to study journalism. Now, these presenters are two America hating, self loathing, white guilt alt lefties, yet I hoped I could remain for the whole program, since they at first actually must have bitten their tongues, by not spouting their de riguer liberal anti Trump babble. But then it came. They described a successful family of newspapers, thriving in small to mid sized flyover towns, saying that they could thank for their success a conservative bent. Next came ridicule of the theory that the demise of print media was completed by alleged liberal bias on the pages. And followed were a few choice words on our Brilliant President Trump. The usual, ---democracy undermined, acts like a sovereign, and a gaggle of words ending in "-phobia". So let me get this straight. Two impoverished liberal writers, both clearly making fun of the hypothesis that liberal presses have liberal biases to thank for their jobs vanishing, are pushing their liberal ideas, in challenging the hypothesis. I tried to point this faulty reasoning out during the sober Q & A, VERY sober. But both seemed to miss the point. So, now I'm rethinking TD-HD syndromes, and wondering if liberals suffer from much more. Stay tuned, class.

Conferencing in Beantown.....

Nice view from hotel room of city skyline, and jets leaving from Logan. Commons all lit up for season. Shopping deals galore. Too many free greasy calories. Poontang on the prowl for that all important desirable Mrs. Degree. But the program is of mixed blessings. Lots of great informative talks, and fun meeting old colleagues. Slimey state governor now giving vapid keynote soporific speech. But the pervasive influence of conference funders big Pharma is striking. Well, as adults we hopefully learn to take the good with the bad. Perspectives.
