Income inequality, corporate evolution, liberal self loathing wealth guilt....

... fear of revolution, and right wing progressive sensibilities. One more Vierk mouthful. But how about that 140 large, VERY large, net worth heiress Abby Disney, joining the exclusive, VERY exclusive club, the "Patriot Millionaires"? Broadcasting Virtue much? Or the Mars candy, etc,. corporation, evolving the corporate charter, VERY corporate, away from share holder only benefits? $25 USD per hour starting pay bases? Oh, my beloved CS lemmings on the big bus, Agent and MB, and others, wisely, gently advise me to truncate, clarify and tone down my rants, so I'll try here. So read up on these two putative human entities, rich tart and corporate, in light of whats behind their thinking, and/or fears. Kindness? Enlightenment? My own motives here, of course, are innocently pure as driven snow. Even if I have increased security against ransom kidnapping here on the expansive Vierk Estates. And am thinking of bullet proofing the vintage Vierk Batmobile. What?

Issues, issues... let me get you some tissues...

Looks like we're ending the year with comparisons about the defunct Matchdoctor and Connecting Singles again. My advice: Don't bother. It's like my dad's dog is bigger than your dad's dog. It's comparing a theme park to an amusement park, the better magician Houdini or David Copperfield.

Although MD had forums, blogging and people from all over the world, it was a different venue. If you ask a comedian if the jokes he tells in Vegas get the same responses to a supper club in the Catskills, his answer would probably be no.

I've been here about 18 months and what I found isn't much different than what went on there. I'm speaking about the CS regulars long before the first wave of MD refugees arrived. Actually, the most significant differences I found are the CS regulars being a bit clannish and not really friendly to newbies. I see lots of sandbox mentality, bullying and empty forum threads as though a quota had to be met.

My first blog here was a success. laugh
I was told how my profile should read. Yes, thank you.

Early on, I did a blog about menopause. Inspired partly from a friends experience, partly from internet research and partly from my own (first wife) experience, yet I had enormous resistance from women who told me I was wrong. Huh??
Quick recap: Me "This is what I experienced" some members "No, you're wrong"
I locked the blog, deleted all the comments and wrote something different in it's place.

We're coming up on a new year. I don't expect people to change.

Stop crying and stop supporting things you dislike about this place.
Do something productive.
Show your fellow bloggers you can do more than complain.

Connecting singles is alive with about 6,000 people online right now.
Think about this... With less than 100 people who blog and use the forums. We're a really small part of the site.

Blogs don't ask questions... but, If the site administrator decided to close blogs and forums, would you be upset?

When dreams get a little too real.....

...Sure, we've had all sorts of them, and many believe they can predict, clarify or warn us. But last night, or early this AM, was a first for me. Like many, did my share of MJ at Juniorversity. Sometimes as strong as Thai sticks and hash oils. So I well recall the high. But regular use for me is decades in the past. Makes me eat too many sweets, after a frantic quest for such (no fridge is safe), and then I fall asleep, often among friends, usually during conversation. And snore loudly, to guffaws all around. But humour and great sex remain, while awake. Now, only indulge when visiting my constantly wasted younger brother, on a mid Pacific Isle, which name shall remain a secret. So, dreaming of such a visit. We are rolling the usual 60 ring size spliffs. Buds the size of Montana. All of the above. Then, on awakening, a bizarre hypnopompic experience. I actually, half consciously, feel a buzz. Only mildly so, mind you, but in most of the usual ways. But here's the kicker. My sweet little rubber blow up bed partner seemed high as well What?

Is it worth the effort?

We meet in real not dream.
We share everything and are adaptable.
We are very far apart And have cultural differences. Patience and understanding are what is requirred
But we are never far from our feelings towards each other.
We are planning For the future of tomorrow.
And live together forever

We have known each other a long while. Last year we became closer and decided to meet.
13,000 km and 24 hour travel we meet. We did not make the mistake of going on holiday - that is illusion. I stayed her house, with her family. We act like a family, work, school, shop, feed, clean.

Now we plan to make from 2 weeks to foreverhug teddybear

Words and phrases....."Falling" in love....Oh,

..., dear searchers. Even given the fact that women seem able to emote more than men, and I find they are more likely to lend importance to, and belief in, the concept underlying these few powerful words. Another blog topic. But many men, usually after a few beers, and often with regret, can, and do, do so. So what is behind it all? The range of talk/claims/beliefs/delusions is enormous. We have those who insist on the "at first sight" idea. Well, if I'm to believe my parent's generation, and those who perhaps spend a little too much time reading romance novellas, they, of course have a point. Not a few sixty and seventy year long marriages, here. But then, some would say, it's really "falling into LUST" instead, often.enough. More innocent times? Sure enough have been there. Some hurtful failures/betrayals, periods of loneliness, the all powerful family and cultural expectations---.perhaps in the context of a little drink, travel, other new experience (jobs?), and there you sometimes have it. For our parents, it was Dad's uniform, and Mom's abilities on the roller skate floor. And it's not merely used for other people. Who hasn't had similar feelings for a young pet, or even some objects/pastimes? In my experience, some such phenomena have, from time to time, existed for me, most often in situations just described. But I think it's important to be ready, and not a little surprised, by these usually overwhelming feelings. Hence the term "falling". Focus on the appearance, voice, walk, humour, lifestyle, intelligence, perhaps even successes, of others can come into play. And empathy/sympathy for unfortunates does often lead DOWN the path. The so called "feeling sorry for, or even pity--- fall". Makes one wonder just how healthful is the experience, for some. A few "marry" into a religious tradition, or cult, and homosexual love opens up many other topics. Yet, who can deny how strong is/are the feeling(s)? So much so, that thoughts come to biological aspects of falling for another. Fruitful unions certainly have evolutionary import. And what of all those conscious, and unconscious odors/pheromones? One of my guitar heroes, the often brilliant Frank Z., even wrote a song about love for his "little rubber blow up doll". Three holes and no lip. What?

She said I was smug...

She said I was smug. Unlike the snug bug in the rug.
To be sure, I looked in a book to find this information I took...
Smug: contentedly confident of one's ability, superiority, or correctness.

Was she talking about me, did my struggle here make a rub, upset the bug in the rug?
Do I sense some disdain for her to mention my name, oh the woman in Spain? Does she live on the plain? I know it gets hot in Spain... she said chatty man and that's really not my name. Was it used in vain, did the cold run through her vein that would make her reference me without really mentioning my name?
My blogs are all too tame and many tell me about the same, reference to her blog, I decided to refrain and I'll live without comment, I know I will abstain.

Yeah, I married once before but a member called me a whore, I clicked the button and showed her the door. To the woman now in France, keep your distance, that's my stance. I'm not here to give you money, I'm here to blog and occasionally say things funny.

I'll respond to the suspicion from the South African guy, Jim N's my friend but he is really not like I, for he likes lemon cake and I like cherry pie.
