There used to be a TV show called The Monkees.
It was based on a Beatles type pop band, that was actually made for the TV show.
They started with the singer and added musicians to form the band.



In the beginning the actual musicians were studio musicians, rather than the TV star band.
Nonetheless, the TV band included Davy Jones (the main vocalist), Peter Tork, Mickey Dolenz and Michael Nesmith.



Now, here's the somewhat unrelated (by one sense of the word) trivia.

Who invented the product 'White - Out' ?

Well, actually, it was originally called 'Mistake Out' and later became 'Liquid Paper'

The answer is Michael Nesmith's mom, Bette Nesmith Graham.



I learn something every day.
Hey, you never know when you might need that answer for Jeopardy.

You click on one video of the U-23 female Italian national pole vault championships and next thing you can't go a day without logging on to youtube without some video of some perky young áss(es) showing up

......because I actually experienced a similar situation;



I was living with a very pretty natural strawberry blonde and one morning she awoke and was
quite angry with me. I asked her several times what was wrong, and she stated "nothing".

I persisted with, "something must be bothering you."

Finally, she said, "how could you !?" and gave me another angry look.

So, I replied "how could I what ?"

With tears in her eyes, she replied, "how could you make out with my niece ?"

I said, "I've never touched your niece".

She replied, "well you did in my dream" this morning.

I retorted, "that was your imagination at work. You can't blame me for whatever your mind makes up
while you are sleeping."

Finally, she admitted, that I was right. It took a couple of hours for her to get over it though.

The cartoon above made me remember that real life experience and made me laugh.
I wonder if the cartoonist experienced something similar in their life.

...As if the first lady in the world, to get a little REAL action, after decades of saving it up, for someone adequately worthy. Say, of my stature. And smile. Not to mention Big Little Vierk.

Can't live with the little creatures, and can't live without them .

I know it's been months but it's hard to break an addiction.

....perhaps I'm reading a little too much into it. But in answering the smaller subset, VERY smaller, of all the hundreds, nay thousands? of likes and notes of interest I receive here, (may the peace of Allah be upon the mod and suits of CS), I of course notice certain trends. Sure some are from easily vetted away scammers, often with a little fun involved, but oddly, most aren't.
In the chats to vet, I learn about the world a bit, and about others, and meself, via the well crafted process. Sooner or later, the question raises its ugly head, of whether a prospect, with potential, might be able to live elsewhere, trying never to restrict the choices to only the Great Satan.
In the past, there was ever a certain level of willingness to do so, within confines of inertia, sloth, family, their way or the highway, and perhaps, of course, fear and even a little patriotism. But as the world seems to present further challenges to certain lives lived in seeking and in service, I'm finding more willingness to get away from it all, usually with hats in hand. After all, now it's even more of a dating site.

Question is, of course, whence, whither and wherefore? Not digressing, nor paraphrasing. Perhaps just jiving a little.
